I just bought the clear stream adapter and have a different antenna to go with it my clear stream adapter should be in the mail next week. Antennas are pretty cool crazy how they are making a come back.
The best antenna in the market is the clearstream 4...l get 98 channels crystal clear indoors l live in the 6th floor building in New Jersey.....save money
Good video. I watched because I am returning it. Very cheap plastic parts. There are others for half the price. You will need a pre-amplifier if you live 60 miles from any stations antenna alone isn't strong enough.
I have that same antenna I bought many years ago, except mine doesn't have that VHF dipole, should add one of those? It seems that they now have them on all the Clearstream 2's.
For the past month, I have been trying tons of Antennas, Mohu, NO BRAND, ETC...., and so far Clearstream 2V is the best. I was able to get 28 Channels total with Clearstream 2V indoor. Today, I went and bought the Clearstream 4MAX. I merged BOTH together and OMG, I am now at 48 Channels *indoor*! I can't wait to get it *outdoor*, but so far, I am extremely happy with it!
Great Video! A couple of questions if you don't mind? How many more channels did you receive using the clear stream? also, did you continue to use the amplifier as well? Just a side note, I use the 3-M Command strips picture hangers as they can be mounted and remounted on your wall without making a hole. They have different strengths for the weight of your antenna and hold really well on the wall. I have also used them on my windows with no problem. Thanks
John Payne thanks for commenting with the new antenna it wasn't so much that I got more channels it was that the channels that I already have came in much stronger and with less glitching in the picture
Most people don’t understand that some tv built in tuners are worse than other brands. Obviously Sony has a much better tuner than TCL or other bargain tv’s. TV’s are not more expensive just because they have a well known name the internal goods is the important part
I have a clearstream indoor antenna l get 84 channels crystal clear I the 6th floor building you just have to find the right spot inside your living room l paid 100 dollars at best buy store
It's actually another antennas direct product from 2002 back when they were more tailored for the industrial user. The base was there standard car top magnetic mount and you could customize the whip to what ever frequency ranger you wanted to receive, which in this case is 2 meter ham radio for my scanner.
i don’t know if i’m going ballistic, but the VHF reception is AWFUL compared to UHF. i get most uhf in most spots. ZERO vhf in most spots. at a windows, facing the towers, up high, they. keep. cutting. out. and i’m only 16 miles away! dont buy for indoor vhf reception, and very small electrical interference. almost as bad as flat antenna with VHF. VERY CLOSE.
Don't listen to the advertising hype. There is no such thing as a DIGITAL ANTENNA. All radio frequency signals are analog. The tuner decodes the analog signal to produce digital data.
LOL, not true.... Mine is laying on the Floor in my room and I get tons of Channels... But I raise it up or stand it up.... I can barely get half of it. Strange, but that is how it works :/

00:37 LOL, I LOVE your cable maintenance behind the TV! : D :D : D
Thanx For The Info; I Always Heard That Vizio TV's Were Of Low Quality And Now I'm Sure. Also Horrible Design Interfaces As You Demonstrated.

Very creative on the mounting, I would have never thought of that.
Dude, why would you put that inside the house?

The clearstream 4...antenna is more than 100 dollars but works very good

nice un-boxing and review. how is the antenna holding up after 3 years?
The best way to improve reception is to get an outdoor antenna, a powered splitter, and rg6 coaxial cable
thanks captain obvious
Iowa? I was in your state once.
I have a clearstream indoor antenna l get 84 channels crystal clear I the 6th floor building you just have to find the right spot inside your living room l paid 100 dollars at best buy store
how is the terrain between the antenna and the transmitter?
If you aren't using 25'+ of RG-6 ditch the amp as your ATSC receiver is sensitive enough. Get rid of the reflector as that makes it directional.
When you mounted the antenna vertical, did the stations come in better?
Mine laying flat on the Floor. When I go different directions, I get half of the Channels...., strange!
Originally, cable didn't have any commercials.
How is your Peterbilt yes they did, you got PBS stuck in your head
@@canadianmike711 - :/
I remember that
what town in iowa do you live in?
Good way I love it
What kind of magnetic mount scanner antenna is that?

Cedar Rapids huh ? Waves HI from Des Moines ! I just bought this .
Paul Simon Ladies and Gentlemen.
How long the cable for this antenna could be?
The rg6 cable for the clearstream antenna is good long or short is not included in the clearstream antenna but is a must
An amplifier is an amplifier. They don't distinguish between digital and analogue signals in this case.

Many Humans are Tacky as Hell , and still breathing
For best reception the antenna needs to be outdoors and 20' or more above ground level.

how many channels do you get?
