  • If your Seiki TV is not turning on, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Check the power source: Ensure that the TV is properly connected to a working power outlet. Test the outlet by plugging in another device to verify if it is functioning correctly.
Verify the power cable: Check if the power cable is securely connected to both the TV and the power outlet. If it's loose, firmly plug it in.
Try a different power cable: If possible, test the TV with a different power cable to rule out any issues with the cable itself.
Power cycle the TV: Disconnect the TV from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for about 1-2 minutes. Then, plug it back in and try turning it on again. This action can sometimes reset the TV and resolve power-related issues.
Check the remote control: If you're using a remote control to turn on the TV, replace the batteries with fresh ones and ensure they are properly inserted. Additionally, try using the power button on the TV itself to see if that makes a difference.
Try a different power outlet: Connect the TV to a different power outlet to rule out any issues with the current outlet.
Check for a physical power switch: Some Seiki TVs have a physical power switch located on the back or side panel. Ensure that the switch is in the "On" position.
Contact customer support: If none of the above steps work, it's recommended to reach out to Seiki customer support or refer to the TV's user manual for specific troubleshooting steps or warranty information. They may be able to provide further assistance or guide you through additional troubleshooting options.
Remember to exercise caution while handling electrical devices, and if you're not comfortable with troubleshooting electrical issues, it's best to seek professional assistance from a qualified technician or contact the manufacturer's support team.

If you can't get your tv up and running, try a new 50" Amazon Fire TV from Amazon here amzn.to/3HguZCU I've been very impressed with the picture and quality of the Fire TV. My seiki tv is getting difficult to start, or it repeats itself at the start logo. I have to either unplug it and plug in again and restart. In the winter, some times it takes about 10 - 15 minutes. In the summer, it's much shorter. But you see human beings are making garbages. Just because one small part, you have to throw it away and buy a new one. When I came to this country 30 years ago, the landlord give me a 70' TV, and a GE refrigerator made in 50s - runs good! 😁

I have a firestick that I have been using to watch shows without cable. Recently the TV has started freezing. Once it freezes I can’t turn it off without the remote or the power button on the tv. I have to unplug the tv. Once I plug it in again it will end up freezing again sometimes after just a few minutes sometimes an hour.
