I heard that you should wash your Note9 in fresh water after it's been in salt water. I think it's so stuff in the salt water don't damage the adhesive, screen, ports, and pretty much everything.
For anyone wondering if the speakers work after that water test. Yes it still does with little distortion because of the mesh between the inside and outside is blocked by water but once it dries out the sound return to normal. Trust me, i have tried it in a swimming pool.

I dropped my note 9 in a bucket of mop water with bleach i pulled it right out no more than 5 seconds took the case of and rinsed the phone and it was still functioning I have my note 9 for two years and its the best phone I've had I wouldn't trade it . It is working perfectly . It's worth the price .
Salt water is very corrosive! 😱 I don't recommend even splashing the phone with salt water. I hope you soaked that thing after in fresh water for a long time 🤦♀️

Now.. with note 9.. it eases my mind. Dont have to worry about water resistance anymore. For note 4.. i dried the phone under the sun... disassemble battery, spen n back cover first.. after that.. burry it under uncooked rice in a tight container for 2 days.

Well I have a note nine and I accidentally dropped it in water but if I click on a yt vid it just goes to other ones really fast and when I text on snap it just goes out of it and goes to my camera roll idk whats happening

I got my s8 wet by falling into the bathtub. Quickly got it out but had a message water was in the phone 2 weeks later my microphone for phone calls no longer worked. 2 weeks later it started working again.

Power off and take out the SIM card tray, get some piece of newspaper to package the phone and bury it into uncooked rice, keep it for 24 hours.
