Toyota Avensis 3 2.0 D-4D from 2016 with 143 Ps and 320 Nm Top Speed on an unlimited strip of Autobahn being pushed to its limit.

The Car is the 2016 Toyota Avensis 3 2.0 D-4D. It has a 1995 cm³ (121,7 cu in) 4 Cylinder Turbo Charged Diesel engine producing 143 Ps (105 kW; 140 hp) at 4000/min and 320 Nm (236.2 lbf⋅ft) at 1750-2250/min.
It is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission driving the front wheels.

I’ve got a 2005 Avensis 1.8 vvti petrol, and it’s just as quiet inside as my old 3 series BMW, the interior on the Toyota is more modern looking and looks Just as up market, if not more so in the Toyota
That’s because it’s a BMW Diesel engine and they make some of the most refined Diesel engines out there
@@aidan1585 Stll driving an Avensis is just as good as driving a modern VW Passat. Toyota new why they wanted BMW as partner for their diesels tho.
@@chriskonte1909 Because BMW diesels are better than TDI's and VW wouldn't give Toyotas their VAG TDI's as if Toyota tuned them better, the sales of the Passat would drop.

So do i...i have one. But i have had a lot of trouble since buying it in March 2019. Replaced clutch,cv joint,spring and starter. Power wing mirror also gave trouble,but i fixed that myself

Ich habe das gleiche Auto allerdings Baujahr 02/2018 in weiß. Meiner hat von Anfang an einen Chip drin, welcher die Leistung von 143 auf 169 Ps erhöht. Die angezeigte Geschwindigkeit weicht bei mir um 5 km/h von der echten Geschwindigkeit ab, das Navi zeigt also bei meinem Sommerreifen 5 km/h weniger an. Gutes Video.
Kleine Bemerkung: Das Drehmoment ist wie am Anfang angegeben 320 Nm, die 310 Nm gegen Ende des Videos stimmen nicht !

Ich hab so ein Toyota Avensis 2.5 Jahre selbst gehabt. Der war aber 1.8 mit 147 PS Automatik. Höchstgeschwindigkeit war 200 geiles Auto aber jetzt seit halbes Jahr hab ich den 2019er Toyota Camry Hybrid der ist aber mega.
bei toyota bekommt man ein auto was einfach immer funktioniert egal in welcher situation. Die meisten die einmal einen toyota hatten schwören drauf. Habe vor kurzen einen Corolla HYbrid gefahren, lade ich hoffentlich bald hoch

Diesel engines are by BMW in avensis
yup, since 2015, the 1.6D 112hp and the 2.0D 143hp are from BMW, the rest of diesel in older versions are from toyota

За 3 года и 85000км. никаких проблемов по двиг. За 70000км. задние колодки здались. В сервизе сказали, что Тойота вьнашивает скорее задньх чем передньх.

i have this exact model, already 327000km driven, no problems at all. Except we got it chiptuned, so it drives superb, but we had to remove the dpf
@@kajuspt5314 I'm waiting now the DPF to be blocked and will remove it and chiptune. Still the car is in warranty. Any symptoms about the chain? There is not so good stories for N47 engines chain.

What kind of sound meter are you using?
We have two basic models but both are calibrated certification Class 2. we only use one but have the second one from a different manufacturer to make sure it shows accurate reading

Are the diesel engines reliable in this model? I prefer gasoline but the damn CVT puts me off.
Cvt is a nightmare, sounds so good on paper but is a letdown in the real world. I would always go with a diesel, in my pontoon it’s almost always the better choice
They're not, they are BMW engines. DPF goes to shit very fast, especially if you're driving short roads. Idk where you are from but my country has the 1.8 petrol with manual transmission
@@misterlove6225 Thanks for the comment. I watched some reviews on YT and they said petrol is with cvt only but found out there are 1.8 manual. Found only 3 for sale for the whole country though (Austria).
@@IbanezRG1527 yes, they are quite rare, like 8 in Germany. But they're tanks. Major disadvantages though, lot's of cheap plastic inside, 0 sound proofing, very slow car, navigation is extremely outdated.
@@misterlove6225 Found plenty 1.8 Valvematic gas engines here in Germany with a manual. But the CVT doesn't have to be that bad; if you drive a lot in the city then it might be the perfect transmission choice.
Tho Toyotas 6-speed transmission are very fine and easy to shift.

People stay away from this car, this is very dengerous BMW N47 2WW engine taken by toyota, this car ground me on motorway i was 175km speed on clock on motorway turns off my engine on second line while i was overtaking trucks!!!! constant problem with EGR cooler, in my case burns out hole in my inlet manifold i was lucky didnt catch fire most of them is burning on motorways, check more details online. carr ok if you travel locally long journeys avoid, because of this simple Toyota mistake ill never ever in my life buy toyota car. rubbish.
