And? They can't brick a 2.4GHZ or 5GHz drone without DJI pushing a firmware/software update that does so, which they would never do. They do not have any way to block drones currently in your hand. The only possible thing that can be done is to pull the DJI app from app stores. But it would still be able to be sideloaded and it doesn't matter for people with the RC controller. They can make it more difficult to fly DJI but they can't actually stop it.

But funding shit like Belt and Road, while helpful for upcoming countries, serves to put China in a better position. Yes, you can bring your drone to the US as a tourist, but you will need to register it with the FAA through their DroneZone portal and follow their regulations for recreational flying, which may include submitting a Notice of Identification (NOI) if your drone is already registered in your home country

I have a pocket 3 camera from DJI and I like it a lot... BUT.. everytime I transfer files from the micro sd I get a notice that a program needs to finish installing. Now I formated the Micro SD card and I erase everything on after each transfer so the only way any software gets on the SD card has to be something built into the camera that puts this script of program onto the SD card. Now I can simply eject the card while the prompt is on the screen and it goes away but it is there each time I put the SD card into my computers SD slot.... If someone can tell me what this is and/or how to stop it please let me know.
