I'm in my 20s, over weight, and thought it was hopeless for me to get healthy. Every video on RUclips exhausted me so bad I could barely function (energy wise) the next day. However once I found this my life changed. After following your lead, in this particular video, 5xs a week for a month I noticed a HUGE difference in my weight and energy level. Amy I cannot thank you enough for jump starting my path to healthiness. I've progressed to your other videos and every single one of them are fantastic! You rock!
+Michou Amirou Hey there! Well I began doing this exact workout 5x a week for a month (so 10 min a day for 5x a week). Then progressed to doing this video and another of Amy's *AMAZING* 10 min workouts for the past month (so 20 min a day 5x a week). I switch them around weekly so I've at least worked on a particular area. I cut bread and soda out of my diet. I also limited my intake of cheese. I started really doing this because I have very high cholesterol and was told I was going to be put on medication if I didn't start being serious about my health. That's why low impact cardio was great to begin on. Everyone is different and during Amy's videos she always say "stick to your own pace!" so I would suggest finding what works for you. I didn't exhaust myself, took quick 10 second breaks in the beginning for water, and just really listened to my body. I still have a long way to go, but even just doing the smallest workout regularly will only benefit you remember that. :)
Helroyessia If you want to lost weight, the best thing to do is to start out with light cardio because you will get unmotivated and tired if you put too much strain on your body. Also be sure to have a good diet. Don't try things like body wraps and the Alkins diet. The alkins diet is technically starving yourself. Just eat a little less than what you lose. That's some tips. And a key to weight loss is that it doesn't happen overnight. It takes work. Stay motivated and strong like I did and you too will be in shape in no time.
I am 190 I always been 145 my whole life at one point lower than that I've gained over 50 lbs in the last 4 years and now that I am engaged I am wanting more to be healthy again. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx5VQ5nUzHu6i0O5_u7ipyLnCz0lbsSvr0 I am not fat but I am thick and have muscle. I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. I went from size 5 to size idk because I don't even want to know the real number. I hate looking at pics of myself now or me before. Thank you for your video it's time to make a change.
Rainbow Chick Most computers and smartphones have functions that allow the blind to type and hear what they are typing. It also reads other people's comments back to them.
This is exactly what I needed. I am very overweight and disabled. I was able to do half this workout standing and half in my wheelchair. I don't feel over tired or gasping for air.
this makes me so happy. i love reading about people reaching their goals with the help of the online world. it shows me its not completely a waste, haha! so glad you are reaching your goals. keep doing you!
I was a bit out of breath and sweating when I finished this but I felt like a million bucks, I could do every single move, no joint pain, no not being able to keep up, no nothing. Love you for this, Amy!
Appreciate this! I love that you realize that some people unfortunately are starting with perhaps no history of physical health. I'm not overweight (luckily for me) but that doesn't mean I'm not out of shape. I have a very weak body and that's because I don't move it enough and I'm realizing this and beginning to exercise!
Watch how fast it gets strong ! IF consistent you'll be Shocked &well at least very pleasantly pleased w/ how quickly workouts get ezier & ezier and how quickly the harder moves are effortless Never Mind the diff in body tone etc !💪😊 💪😊 😋🌝🌜🌌🌒🌠⭐🌕🌙❕
I've been working out for a while. Far from being as fit as her but I do it regularly enough. I have just found that too many of these 'beginner' videos are still being done at the instructors level of what they consider to be a beginners level which thankfully she doesn't do. Unfortunately many have been doing fitness for so long that they have forgotten what it feels like to start from zero or never having done any exercise. This one critical thing is what dissuades a lot of people from working out long term.
Like seriously, practically cried tears of joy when you said no jumping. Lol. No getting up and down from the floor, no feeling like I'm shaking the whole house cause I'm jumping.... a TRUE beginners workout that doesn't make me feel stupid or weak because I need alternate versions of the activity... THANK YOU!😂😂😂
I just started this workout tonight..after finding out my BMI is literally in the obese section I had to change my lifestyle. i'm 5'3 and weigh 180 lbs. after being so slim my whole life ( I use to weigh 110-115 before i had 2 children) I didnt think I could ever get this big. (this is big for me it might not be for others.. so im not picking at anyone) I tried to do more intense cardio workouts to push myself but my heart was literally hurting from pushing myself so hard, so this video is soooo amazing. no problems with heart pain.. i guess i just need to take it slow, its been near 5 years since i've worked out or did any kind of strenuous activity..my diet was pretty much whatever i wanted to eat..ice cream, cupcakes, candy etc. etc. for 5 years..well not anymore. thanks again AMY. this just gave me more motivation to get myself back in shape. and good luck to everyone and anyone who uses her channel for motivation =]
Amy, I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for your videos and the hard work you put into them. This is the very first workout I started doing nearly 3 years ago and then fell in love with your videos! I have since then lost 30kg and I am now able to do your most advanced cardio workouts and Pilates. You don't even know it but you have helped me change my life. Thank you!
Thankyou so much for sharing one that is trully useful to REAL beginners and those needing to take it easy. Some people assume that beginners can jog for a warm-up and so forth, and I know that when I was a beginner, those type workouts always made me give up because I was out of breath and exhausted when the warmup was done. It took years for me to learn different and that I can modify when I need to. This is finally a workout that I can get my fiancee to try with me. Thankyou!!
+Jen M tell me about it I tried a beginner cardio workout here on youtube and it bearly gave me time to move to the next workout. congrats best of luck to you and your fiancé. :)
How sweet! Bless you sand thankyou! :-) MissMichSan , another good channel is Jessicasmithtv . It has a lot of good beginner workouts and workouts that are easy to modify. Its another one of the channels I love!
Thank you! Finally a real beginner workout!! I’m pushing close to 400lbs and other works I can’t do it... this one had me sweating and puffing great start.. thank you!!
Amy, I am 13 and going onto 14 however, I am so thankful for this video, without this video I would have gone overweight. I use this video 5x per week and the results amazed me!! I have lost 3.4 stone within a month and a week. You have transformed my life, health, body and even my mental health. God bless you!
@@laneecemckerry4022 it's really important for you to change your diet also. I don't know what diet would be best for you because it depends on ur age, weight, and height, etc. Although I want to tell you to not cut fat completely. what I mean is to cut highly processed carbs like burgers, pizza, etc. but do not cut out HEALTHY fats like avocado, shrimp, fish, etc. Proteins and carbs are crucial to weight loss. also, if you are going to eat before you workout, make sure you eat 1 to 3 hours before because it reduces exercise-induced nausea. I recommend to wait 45 minutes to one hour to eat post-workout. If you do not feel thirsty during the workout, don't drink water because it can also make you feel nauseous. it's really bad to feel like this but don't worry, if you do start feeling nauseous, walk at ur own pace and rest. It's normal to feel like this. Professional athletes also experience this. DO NOT push yourself to the point where you can't take it anymore. Also, drink 8 cups of water a day and cut out sodas and sugary drinks. DO NOT do HIIT workouts if you are a beginner because you're not used to it. If you are going to do cardio, do short sessions. I don't recommend going on the treadmill for 1 hour. this video is what you need. if you don't feel like it's doing anything, maybe do it twice a day. I hope this helps!
I am on hiatus now for 9 months of not working out and mindless eating due to some unwanted circumstances that happened in my life, I gained 2x the weight that I lost. Now I realized that enough is enough, I don't want any diabetes and hypertension coming up in my future so little by little I am going back on track. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR this video!!!!
Today is April 9th 2018. I weigh 223 pounds as of this morning. I'm using an app to try and establish some healthy habits to turn my life around, and it said to do a 10 minute work out first thing in the morning. I just found this one today, and it's perfect for my current experience level. I'll check back in 3 weeks and let you know how I'm doing :)!
This is amazing, I didn’t think cardio like this existed. I’m only 18 but I’m not strong and I have a bad back and HORRIBLE legs and knees. This really worked for me. It was the first video where I could do every single exercise and didn’t take any breaks. I feel like I could even handle a 20 min version. Thank you for introducing me to low impact cardio
This is great! I'm a runner, but I've been looking for a gentle cardio workout to do on recovery days to get the blood flowing, without joint impact. Most 'low impact' videos seem to mean lots of jumping, but only an inch or two off the ground. This one is perfect, I can even add light hand weights too if I'm wanting to feel the burn!
I am so glad that I have found this video. I am a 50 year old who's had a spinal fusion a few years back and have since suffered more as I've gained 90 lbs because I could barely walk. I've finally found a Dr that diagnosed my issue and turns out, I need a full hip replacement! So he has given me injections in both hips and boy oh boy, does that help. I am able to move with so much ease, I've even jogged a bit. Have been walking around the block which is just over 1 mile in under 23 minutes. Some days I go to the gym and walk on the treadmill for 2 miles at a pretty swift pace for me. Finding this 10 minute workout will allow me a quick cardio between workouts! Yes!!!
Thank you so much for this! Finally someone who gets the idea of BEGINNERS! I was hunting for something for a 1st timer. Everyone has to start somewhere! I havent done anything like this for, well I wont specify how many years lol, but am losing weight now and wanted to add some cardio, but most of the so-called "beginner" stuff is all for able-bodied fit young folks, not for someone who is older, overweight and out of shape, with back, joint and balance problems. :O I couldn't keep up with or coordinate with other videos that supposedly "showed you" how to do things way too fast. This I was able to fairly closely follow and keep up with, and only got my arms and legs tangled once or twice lol. I didnt feel embarrassed or lame at any point for not be able to catch on to the moves or do everything like other "beginner" videos I attempted today, and just felt comfortable doing what I could, and surprised myself how much I could do. I plan to exercise to this one often until I can develop some fitness and mobility. :)
Hi Amy I love love this workout. Definitely great for beginners and those just struggling to get back in the exercise mode. I have been doing it for the past 3 weeks and last night I replayed this video 3 times. I'm loosing weight and feeling great thanks for the motivation. I can't weight to move on to some of your other videos. Thank you so much. I do wonder how many calories I'm burning though to ad on fitness pal. Thanks again. ❤️
+Beronika Drodriguez Great job! Sounds like you're really progressing and getting fit and healthy! Calorie burn depends on a lot of things that are different for each individual---heart rate, bodyweight, etc---but you are probably burning between 100-150 calories each time you do the 10 minute video. Keep up the good work!
@Beronika Drodriguez How much weight have you loss? And are you doing duets with this video? I hope you don't mind my asking, I'm trying to lose 30 pounds by the spring!!
Niyah C. Hi when I started my weight loss journey 10 months ago I weighed 238 pounds and i am currently 194 pounds. When I started this workout I had already started a daily walking routine. Then this. First 3 or 4 weeks was 10 minutes by the 2nd month I was replaying this workout and by the third I was playing it 3 times. but I've moved on to other more challenging workouts. I enjoyed doing this one for a good 3 months and I was ready to step it up. Good luck on your journey. You can follow my journey @parradrodz on IG.
280lb woman finally found a workout I can do. Looked a little funny as I am dyspraxic so trying to keep to any kind of rhythm and coordinate my arms and legs is impossible. But I still enjoyed doing it and working up a sweat! You're so supportive throughout the video. Thanks!
I teach a wellness for life college course, and manage a wellness FB page for people who work long hours at their desk and have high stress levels. I will be recommending this video because it's only 10 minutes and can be done in a cubicle or small office space. It's also perfect for my students who want to add a quick cardio workout. Personally I love the versatility of it. It can be low impact and I noticed that some of these moves are similar to my hand and ankle weight workout, so I can do weight lifting and cardio at the same time. Love this!
If you want, take time and read my story. I'm 17 and have 102,6 kgs (this morning I weighted myself). And all I can say that it's my fault. My eating habits were totally unhealthy with a lot bread, pepsi and sweets. Everyday for a while. The result is this weight. Before just a month I had 96kg, and I was fat my whole life, but this number on scale is shook and it was like someone punched me in face. Really. And this video is pure miracle. I know this one for years and always take me back to shape and condition. The most important, there are a lot of sweat every single time, because whenever I can I bring up exercise level. Truly for beginners! Thank you Amy so much. ❤
Hello, I am 15 weeks pregnant, 26 y/o, and I've carried out this workout. Nowadays, because of pregnancy, I was feeling that I really need to start doing sports (walking or sth like that) and I work sitting, 8 hours a day so this video really helped me and I did not feel anything negative when I did this. So thanks for this.
i love this. i was in a serious car accident and had a torn shoulder and shoulder surgery from it last year. i’ve been struggling to stay in shape since then. i have gained 40 lbs because of it. this video is perfect for me since i haven’t done a lot of physical exercise since then. i also love that it doesn’t have any floor exercises and it doesn’t impact my shoulder! thanks!!
great workout . I am huffing and puffing but feel great. Proud I finished. Great for beginners, Challenging yet not overwhelming at all. Love it. Thank you!
Take it slow no shame here. Haven't worked out in over year and I was in great shape before and this workout was tough for me. I know in a short time though I will be back into shape and building my body up!
I never get bored of this video. I hate working out and when I get seasonal depression I even more rarely do it. It's late January and I can finally feel myself coming back. I just did this workout today for the first time in a long time, and it feels like the beginning of a good season.
Been doing this workout for the past few weeks, along with my daily walk and changing the way i eat I've lost 5 kilos already! Each week i go for an extra 10 minutes and i feel great. Thankyou so much for this video 🤗
this is exactly what I needed!! I used to have a very active lifestyle, but then some health issues left me with no work out and not such an active lifestyle in general for months!! now that things are better and my health seems to be doing better, I tried to start working out again... I forced myself to do the same level as I did before, but I realized that I was doing more harm to my body than good... I had to really accept the fact that I have to start over and IT'S OK! I had to take a step back and finally search for "beginners cardio".. it was the right choice :) I know that I can progress fast since I have an active background, but I'm not concerned with this anymore. Just listen to your body, guys! Whether you're a beginner or someone coming back from injury/health issues, take a minute to breath and you'll get there in your own pace! Exercise is supposed to feel good!
What a great starter workout. I went to hard yesterday on a workout with my husband and didn’t want to take a day off. This got my blood pumping and heart rate up. Low impact and really felt great.

Five pregnancies have definitely taken a toll on my body and making me feel every bit of my "middle age". I love that this is truly a beginner workout for fat/poor muscle tone women, not "beginners to our rigorous program". Thank you for modelling the clear step by step instructions that so many workouts assume we already have the coordination for, and encouraging us to work where we are at!
Love the way you let people know they can tone it down if they have to and that it fine to do that. You are very positive about it and remind everyone that it’s just great that they are moving.
This is actually really pleasant to do while still feeling like proper exercise, and it doesn't require a lot of open space, either. Awesome! I have a lot of hobbies that require sitting around for extended periods of time, and I needed something quick and reasonably easy to just get moving a bit every now and then, without feeling absolutely knackered afterward. This is the first youtube workout that makes me feel energized instead of vaguely sore while also not carrying much of a risk of kicking over a musical instrument or a stack of books or something. I also appreciate that it's pretty easy on the knees - I had an ACL tear a few years ago, and while everything's technically fine again, accidentally overworking that knee generally _really sucks_ for a few days.
I had a fairly serious car accident in August 2014. I was broken from my right ankle all the way up to my right wrist. This is the first workout that has actually been low-impact enough for me to complete without pain! I look forward to using your videos from now on.
I am committing this year to being more fit and active, trying to burn off the extra fat and just get back into shape. This really is an excellent beginners cardio workout. I get my heart rate up and breathe heavily. I can feel it in all those important muscle groups. But my knees don't hurt and I don't worry about my ankles being able to support all of my weight. Thank you so much for taking those of us with these issues into consideration and making a video to truly help us get back on track.
I just want to tell your my favorite trainer on youtube! i try my best to do at least one round of one of your beginner 10 min workouts every day. Some days I'll repeat them 2-3 times. Thank you for helping me not feel ashamed that i can't do jumping workouts due to my knees and I live in an apartment building. You help me feel motivated to get back in shape and loose the weight!
Finally an actual workout for beginners... i have tried many workout videos and had to give up after 5 minutes. This one I can actually do while still feeling my muscles and my heart rate go up. I love that rhere are different variations of each exercise to tailor it a bit more to your own fitness level. Hopefully this will help me get in better shape
I just started this workout today. I did it one time and after I was done, I rested for like 10 minutes, after that I said to myself: "I'm gonna do another rond!" And so I did this workout twice in (almost) a row. I feel great and I will keep doing this daily. Been overweight my whole life, and I decided just now with this workout that is going to change! Thank you Amy!
Thank you amy for posting this workout. I'm anaemic and can get tired easily. Previously I'd looked for many workouts that involves dumbbells cardio etc but none was of help as they were too hard for me. Then I found this channel and swear to God this is THE first workout ever that I've finished till now. Watching you doing in front inspires us to do exactly like you. You are sure to be blessed if I get thin in future hopefully .. :) Thanks a ton
Haven't worked out in a year. I need to start at a small level and work my way up. I'm also getting older and have knee pain. This workout is perfect. Thank-you so much.
Wow. Thank you. Im about 315. I used to do pilates. I got down to 180 and was in the best shape of my life. Now that i can't even get through my old 20 min pilates workout i was and have been so unmotivated because it used to be so freaking easy to me. Now finally i found something that i can complete and feel good about. Im sweating and i could see myself doing this more than once a day. Even when i would go to the gym i couldn't work out like i used to. I used to be able to go so hard. Last time few times i went to the gym my whole core/ abdomen would cramp up so bad i had to stop working out. I could go as hard as i can with this for ten minutes and feel like i accomplished something. Thank you
thank you so very much..last year I was severely ill.and had many surgeries. .I lost 62 pounds due to the side effects of medications. .nausea..etc..I just starting power walking..with Dr's approval. .and he said to try low impact aerobics. .So Thank Goodness I could you. .Thank you. ..so very much. debra from illinois...
Hi Amy...I just started doing this workout. I am a young 53 that works in a call centre all day, over the last year I have put on some weight, so I really needed to do some exercise that is gentle but effective. I feel great now and much more energised, so thank you.
Thanks for the low impact workout that I could do at home. I went with the more intensive versions of each exercise and found it was just enough for me to do without pushing me into an asthma attack like so many other exercise routines.
My daughter (38 years old) and I (Salena - 57 years old) both do this exercise together and other ones from Amy. We love her exercises because it is a great workout for both of us. Thank you Amy!
Hey Amy, I just started doing this video, and I'm wondering what the next one step up would be after this one. Thank you for making a video that is easy to follow, easy for me to actually do without hurting myself, and actually does get the heart going! The way you provide options within each exercise is also excellent. Thank you so much!
Hi Amy, I just want to express you my gratitude for this workout. After a bad depression I gained a lot of weight (I was 170kg, which is 27 stones) and nearly every movement was overwhelming for me, if not impossible at all. When I started this workout I was destroyed at second minute and had to stop. Now I've lost 54kg (8,5stones), and although I know I still have a long way to go, this routine is now only the warmup of what follows. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
this is great! could you pleeeeeaaseee post more 10-15 min workwouts. as a working mum i really dont have time for more in the morning but this workout was perfect. agreat start of the day
You are a blessing, Miss Amy! I have fibromyalgia and hashimoto's and this was exhilarating. I used to body build before I got really sick and started to have trouble even with simple tasks like walking. I went from 145lbs down to 120lbs within a year. I feel very tired and my muscles have wasted away so much that I have become very weak. Other videos and routines can feel discouraging because they aren't gentle enough, but this one was perfect. To anyone else struggling with disability that wants to exercice, take baby steps and don't worry about how little you can do, focus on what you can do and you will become stronger.
I'm so happy that you maked this video!! I did this today for the first time and i'm really motivated to do this a long time long. I'm struggling with my fat really hard... But i think this workout gonna help me! I've got no idea what cardio or whatever is but i just searched on "10 minute workout at home" and this was the first video that came and i clicked it on and i was really nervous about what i needed to do. Then i heard your sound and i become complete calm and did de workout. I'm very happy that i found this workout and i'm gonna do it every day! Thank you for making this video!❤️ (sorry if i spelled something wrong but i come from the netherlands and my english isn't very good😬)
I suffer from severe physical disabilities and your low impact cardio’s are always great for me!! They make me feel so accomplished :•)) thank you so much!!
great to see such a brilliant 10 minute workout. I have been immobile for a long time and I am now at 54 trying to improve my health and lifestyle alot of workouts are either too fast it painstakingly slow but you have nailed it. just done my first one I am out of breath but not scarily so and feel I have worked hard. so thank you. I look forward to increasing intensity and having lots of fun.
Awesome. I have struggled with sciatica pain, added weight from children I never lost and my first is 15 years old still logging 50 lbs, total thyroidectomy and fighting with sluggishness...till I recently noted changes with vit D. Your exercise is just the best regimen for me. I can do anywhere...so this is first day we'll see. Love this.
Prom body here I come!!! Hi Amy, Just wanted to thank you for this video! It helped motivate me into working out so much that I do about 230 min of workout per week! I have lost three pounds (in that week) I feel better, eat healthier, and look great. All of my friends at school have said that I look slimmer and my teacher says that I now glow. Couldn't have done this without you! Again, thanks!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗
This video the best!! i managed to do it all straight away without any breaks. I am happy and impressed. Will be doing this daily (hopefully) 😁 thank you!!
This is a fantastic workout. I was born with congenital brittle bone disease and have to be so careful of movement ranges and joint impact. I used to be in a wheelchair until I was 15 and couldn't walk. I had operations to put rod's in my femurs to support and assist at preventing full breaks, and worked my backside of at physio to recover and I now walk unaided. Now 36, I've struggled to find workouts which I can do safely as so many require jumping about and fast paced impact. Prior to COVID-19 I had joined a local gym, though struggled to fit it in to my routine between work, school runs and life in general. However I am loving this workout. I can do all the movements at the highest level and keep the pace with Amy. My first few sessions I did have to stop for a drink and a pulse count midway though as my heart was racing, pulse was around 160. Now i've been doing it about 5 times per week for just over a month - i'm seeing small growth in my calve muscles and triceps toning, managing to do the full workout and then going back to start and completing another 6 mins roughly. Pulse now dropping to around 140/145 max - which shows my cardio is improving. I'm delighted and hopefully weight loss will start. I've only given so much detail about my personal circumstances above, to let Amy know how accessible this workout really is for all. Thanks so much Amy.
This is great. My entire family started doing low impact exercises together. When I stumbled across this and showed my family, they were more impressed with it than with the DVD my husband purchased of another person. Keep up the great work. Your delivery is awesome.
I just wanted to tell you that this video was my gateway video to home exercise. I started from a pretty bad place, mild asthma and chronic tendinitis in my knees that meant I struggled to get up from a crouch. A combo of this and your beginner's bodyweight program got me to the point where I don't even struggle to get up several flights of stairs or from the dreaded crouch position! I can now run to the end of my block without wheezing too! I recommended this video to all of my friends to pass along to others struggling because you opened a door to an impactful change in my quality of life! Thank you Amy you rock!
thank you so much for this video, im 43 overweight with a bad back and hip and this is fantastic for me as it is low impact, I have just started using this video as my go to first thing in the morning, sets me up for the day and im hoping over time my back pain and hip will reduce,
Hi DingersDoll22. Hope you and your loved ones are keeping well with this pandemic. I came across Walk at Home videos from a lady called Leslie Sansone, which range from 15 to 30 minutes, and are low impact. I was a little unsure of them at first, but I look forward to doing them now, as they give me the incentive to keep exercising, as my back loosens up for the day. Maybe you know of them already. Good luck, stay well. Lorna
Hi Amy! This workout has really been the turning point in my weight loss journey. I am down 25lbs now. I do this video 5 times in a row everyday and it has changed my life. I do the highest level each time. Thank you for such a great workout!
Thank you for all of your beginner and low impact videos. I have psoriatic arthritis and asthma and all other videos are impossible for me. Even ones that claim to be for beginners. Your's are truly for people who are limited like me. Thank you, Amy!!!
This is so knee-friendly. Looked at a lot of beginner low impact workouts, they all have so much kneeling and getting on the floor. I love that this workout is fully standing, so I continue sticking with this one.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this! Without this video I don't think I'd get back into fitness - EVER! You're so positive; you make us beginners feel like we're progressing and not that we've got a long way to go to even make a dent in our fitness level. I've been using this video every morning with my mum and she LOVES it, makes her feel rejuvenated and it's the only this that gets us exercising WITHOUT making us feel like we're going to have a heart attack within the first 30 seconds of training. Even if we step it up a notch later we will always use this workout for the days in between the heavier cardio to keep the routine going and the blood flowing. So thank you! :)
Thanks! Working on a writing project, I am VERY sedentary lately. I have to set a timer to stop and get up and walk around from time to time. This is the perfect thing to do on those breaks!
So many comments but I just wanted to comment. I'm fairly young, 24, but I haven't done any serious working out since high school. I found out last year I have type 2 diabetes and they want me to lose weight, I've been struggling a long time to find things I can do at home. I just started this yesterday and already I feel so great after I've worked out. Thank you so much for this.
Amy- I throughly enjoy the simplicity of this video: only 10 minutes, low impact and the fact that I do not need any equipment at all, I can do it a small space w/out waking my LO from his nap! I love it! I love working out to this video every morning before work and in the evening before I shower!!! Keep these kinds of videos coming :)
This was honestly my favourite workout I've done - it didn't feel condescending at all and it really felt like she was coaching you through it! First time I've ever ended a workout with a smile.
You rock!
did you just do this workout, or others included? and did you have any kind of diet, because I want to start this workout too.
+Gangu Chikka thank you so much! :)
What video did you progress to? Isn't this amazing? Xxx

If you want to lost weight, the best thing to do is to start out with light cardio because you will get unmotivated and tired if you put too much strain on your body.
Thank you for your video it's time to make a change.
yes! in 2 weeks I lost 12 pounds! cut soda and did this video twice a day! I took 2 days off in 2 weeks.
What was your weight before you lost 12 pounds, if that's alright to ask :s I'm trying to lose weight too
175 I'm now at 153 I haven't worked out in awhile due to health issues but still watching what I eat and only water. good luck on your journey.
Man. That's great to hear
What were you eating like you were dieting or eating your regular oily meal
@@shifadhedhi6125They were probably not dieting just watching how much they eat
Thanks! I'm blind and love workouts I can follow with the instructor's verbal cues! This is one I could follow! Appreicate it!
Melissa Layne hi don't mean to be rude but if you're blind...how are you typing this?
Rainbow Chick Most computers and smartphones have functions that allow the blind to type and hear what they are typing. It also reads other people's comments back to them.

At last a beginner workout that doesn't make you feel like a washout loser! Thank you, thank you, thank you , THANK YOU Amy. You are a gem.
No kidding
This is exactly what I needed. I am very overweight and disabled. I was able to do half this workout standing and half in my wheelchair. I don't feel over tired or gasping for air.
this makes me so happy. i love reading about people reaching their goals with the help of the online world. it shows me its not completely a waste, haha! so glad you are reaching your goals. keep doing you!
Did you loose any weight yet?
Have you tried swimming? My YMCA has a chair lift and many ppl in your situation use it. Its a really great atmosphere.

I was a bit out of breath and sweating when I finished this but I felt like a million bucks, I could do every single move, no joint pain, no not being able to keep up, no nothing. Love you for this, Amy!
Thanks Amy I will try this workout starting today
This is a really good video if you’re on your period and still want to try and keep your body moving

IF consistent you'll be Shocked &well at least very pleasantly pleased w/ how quickly workouts get ezier & ezier and how quickly the harder moves are effortless Never Mind

JnC kitchings yes after two kids I’m fighting to get back in shape to
Same here!
This was my go to workout when I first started losing weight because it's a real beginners workout, thank you incredibly for this!!!!
How much month it took to you loose weight??
+Ruqiya Dilbar It took me 3 months to lose just under 80 pounds but I'm young, teenager.
+Emily L. Amazing 💪🏻
+Emily L. That's great! Good job! I just wanted to ask what weight you were before you lost all the weight? If that's alright to ask
+Natalie Smith i have lost 4 kg in a month💃🏻💃🏻 8kg more I have to loose😭😭💪🏻💪🏻
Amy, I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for your videos and the hard work you put into them.
This is the very first workout I started doing nearly 3 years ago and then fell in love with your videos! I have since then lost 30kg and I am now able to do your most advanced cardio workouts and Pilates. You don't even know it but you have helped me change my life. Thank you!
Wow, that is so great!!
MissMichSan , another good channel is Jessicasmithtv . It has a lot of good beginner workouts and workouts that are easy to modify. Its another one of the channels I love!
your welcome :) Thank You Jen will definitely check it out.
Hey sophie. Were you just exercising or did you make other changes aswell?
I'm trying to lose weight and I want the best possible results. And 3.4 stone sounds amazing
First week doing your videos twice a day - done ✅!!!! Already down 4.5lbs in my first week. Thank you!
Jordan Falco and? How are you doing?
I'd also like to know how it's going. 😊
*bump *
I’m a housewife 29yo i just want you to know that your videos help me to work out at home and still watching my kids playing ❤️ thanks for this video
I really like this workout. I love how she shows us the "easy" way and the "hard" way to do each exercise. 10/10. 😊

Being 42 and getting back into the swing of things, (it's unbelievable how much you lose), but your beginner workouts are perfect!!! Thank you!!!
So thanks for this.
i love this. i was in a serious car accident and had a torn shoulder and shoulder surgery from it last year. i’ve been struggling to stay in shape since then. i have gained 40 lbs because of it. this video is perfect for me since i haven’t done a lot of physical exercise since then. i also love that it doesn’t have any floor exercises and it doesn’t impact my shoulder! thanks!!
great workout
Please more beginners workouts. Thank you Amy.
I never get bored of this video. I hate working out and when I get seasonal depression I even more rarely do it. It's late January and I can finally feel myself coming back. I just did this workout today for the first time in a long time, and it feels like the beginning of a good season.
Yey!! :)
Been doing this workout for the past few weeks, along with my daily walk and changing the way i eat I've lost 5 kilos already! Each week i go for an extra 10 minutes and i feel great. Thankyou so much for this video 🤗
You are LITERALLY the ONLY RUclipsr who’s videos make me feel super comfortable… I can actually get through them! Thank you!
Me too, she's the only one for me that's got a routine I can do, she's brilliant, love her
Awesome. If there was a level below beginner that would be me...This work out was so easy and I love the options.
this is exactly what I needed!! I had to take a step back and finally search for "beginners cardio".. it was the right choice :)
I know that I can progress fast since I have an active background, but I'm not concerned with this anymore.

Hahaha right?
Five pregnancies have definitely taken a toll on my body and making me feel every bit of my "middle age". I love that this is truly a beginner workout for fat/poor muscle tone women, not "beginners to our rigorous program". Thank you for modelling the clear step by step instructions that so many workouts assume we already have the coordination for, and encouraging us to work where we are at!
This is definitely a Low Impact Cardio workout I needed especially during those hot/humid Summer days yet still break a sweat. Love It!! Thanks Amy!!
I agree with all the comments that it's a real beginners workout !! or in my case just out of shape from not exercising in years!!
I just want to tell your my favorite trainer on youtube! i try my best
to do at least one round of one of your beginner 10 min workouts every
day.
Yes!! Love this!

Thank you
Ty! I was having trouble finding a true beginners workout...I'm recovering from a broken wrist and I haven't exercised in months this was perfect ♥
thank you so very much..last year I was severely ill.and had many surgeries. .I lost 62 pounds due to the side effects of medications. .nausea..etc..I just starting power walking..with Dr's approval. .and he said to try low impact aerobics. .So Thank Goodness I could you. .Thank you. ..so very much.

I can't believe I just maganed to do that workout without pausing the video to have a rest, I always need to pause workout videos for a rest :D
LOL
Amy you have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for a trainer like you!!!!!!! My daughter is 9!!!!!! Better late than never!!!!!
Hey Amy, I just started doing this video, and I'm wondering what the next one step up would be after this one. Thank you for making a video that is easy to follow, easy for me to actually do without hurting myself, and actually does get the heart going! The way you provide options within each exercise is also excellent. Thank you so much!
Excellent! One suggestion: 10 .in timer on screen so we can see progress and how long left. :) seems to help
Great workout for beginners. No jumping.
Thanks Amy.
Love this.
Thank you for posting such a perfect easing back into exercise for a sedentary septuagenarian!
Prom body here I come!!!
Hi Amy,
Just wanted to thank you for this video!
Love your videos! I'm new to working out and your videos have helped so much. Thank you!
This is great. My entire family started doing low impact exercises together. When I stumbled across this and showed my family, they were more impressed with it than with the DVD my husband purchased of another person. Keep up the great work. Your delivery is awesome.
I have never seen such a beautiful and kind trainer....you are the best tomorrow i am gonna add this workout with my cardio session...xoxo
very encouraging. try your best and do what you can because at least you are moving. even my doctor agrees.
Thank you Amy you rock!
woohoo! just did 20 minutes of cardio!! this is my first completed exercise video ever and i feel so proud!!
how did it go? did it help you lose weight?
thank you so much for this video, im 43 overweight with a bad back and hip and this is fantastic for me as it is low impact, I have just started using this video as my go to first thing in the morning, sets me up for the day and im hoping over time my back pain and hip will reduce,
Hi DingersDoll22. Lorna
I cant imagine why would somebody dislike this video
Why would anyone like it?

Maybe it’s because it’s very fast, very easy and very effective
Hi Amy! This workout has really been the turning point in my weight loss journey. I am down 25lbs now. I do this video 5 times in a row everyday and it has changed my life. I do the highest level each time. Thank you for such a great workout!
I'm so happy I found this! I feel SO much more confident about getting in shape now! Thank you SO much!!! :) :D
Thank you for all of your beginner and low impact videos. I have psoriatic arthritis and asthma and all other videos are impossible for me. Even ones that claim to be for beginners. Your's are truly for people who are limited like me. Thank you, Amy!!!
Still one of my favorite go to videos. 💗
This is so knee-friendly. Looked at a lot of beginner low impact workouts, they all have so much kneeling and getting on the floor. I love that this workout is fully standing, so I continue sticking with this one.
Doing this for a month, I'll keep you updated😊
Samantha Flores Sooooooo.... How'd it go?
Clearest instructions ever. Very easy to understand and such high energy. I would definitely recommend this.
Yep!
Thanks! Working on a writing project, I am VERY sedentary lately. I have to set a timer to stop and get up and walk around from time to time. This is the perfect thing to do on those breaks!
This is the first cardio workout i actually enjoy and can finish till the end ! Thank you so much ! Subscribed🐥
I wish you were my personal trainer lol, very patient and nice =)
Amy- I throughly enjoy the simplicity of this video: only 10 minutes, low impact and the fact that I do not need any equipment at all, I can do it a small space w/out waking my LO from his nap! I love it! I love working out to this video every morning before work and in the evening before I shower!!! Keep these kinds of videos coming :)
What is next step video after this?
sabiya sabiya that’s what I was thinking. I can easily do this but other videos are to much. There has to be something in the middle.
This was honestly my favourite workout I've done - it didn't feel condescending at all and it really felt like she was coaching you through it! First time I've ever ended a workout with a smile.
