Fabulous pen, Garry. I appreciate your First Impressions reviews. I am looking forward to your future pens that you have gotten recently. I believe you have a new Jinhao 100.
Thanks. I've got a few pens in the queue for future first impressions. I'm currently looking at videos to come out in November - so will hopefully be filming them in the next couple of weeks.
Garry, I would love to hear your thoughts about Nib Creep... I just got my first gold nib (Pilot Custom 823).. and I am noticing a little nib creep, nothing extreme. But I am wondering is a little nib creep ok? Is it more common with gold nibs? Or certain inks (I am using Noodler's Rome Burning). Do you have nib creep with some of your pens? If so, which ones. Does it bother you? I understand some fountain pen enthusiasts enjoy a little nib creep on their pens. Even Brian Goulet says he doesn't mind it. It would be fun if you did a video showing some of your pens with a little nib creep. I would love to see more discussion about this. Could be an interesting video. I don't see much of discussion about this issue, but I think it is an interesting topic as this new pen (and I love it), is making me wonder a bit.
A lovely pen and review.
Thanks.
I've really enjoyed focusing my purchasing this year on pens made by Australian makers. The beauty of handmade pens can not be understated.
Nice looking pen at a good price. Thanks Garry.

That pen is so shiny, it looks like Urushi. That Ruthenium nib is perfect with that resin.
👍

Thanks. Thats an awesome idea for a video. I've added it in to my list for future videos.
