Other than that it was a fair review, wouldn't count the fact that there is a plug in hybrid in the range a reason to not buy any of the others versions though, kind of unfair.
Totally agree about not liking the infotainment screen perched on the dash. Most manufacturers do it and, to me, it is just cheap, sloppy design. It always looks far better when incorporated into the dash

You can buy an entry-level Macan in the UK for just under £48,000, so while it is more expensive than the version of the Formentor in our video and most people do add at least some options, the two may not be quite as far apart as some people think!
Very good and balanced review. I recommend to have the car in individual mode not comfort mode. But yeah cupra need to focus more on performance they need a 600 HP+ car
I've had this car in the VZ2 310 bhp version for over three months now, yes it is very good but there's that infotainment system that's full of bugs and does some weird stuff like not letting you enter the car, or it can make random phone calls to even slamming the brakes on for no apparent reason whatsoever as just a few examples. VW know about this problem as it's a similar problem across their range of cars fitted with this infotainment system but the Formentor has many electrical niggles that need sorting, what are VW doing about it? Very little.

Not that much more for a Macan? Formentor comes allmost fully speced as base VZ. Before you have a decent Macan the options on it will be more than a Formentor 😂
Now we know, Seat will replaced by Cupra, which is a shame. It is contradictory if you want to create an exclusive brand that is successful, meaning retain as many customers as possible.
Driven 5000 miles in mine. Only 38mpg. Style over substance. The worst of both worlds. Useless battery range, useless petrol range. If false plastic moulded exhausts impress you, you deserve this.

Oh what a treat this beautiful woman is to watch. For me the biggest problem I have with the car (bought one) is the missing stuffing in the front door bins, that's just fucking lazy on a car with that price tag.

Great vid, I believe the 245 and 200 hp versions you mentioned are plug in Hybrids. At least I hope so as that what I ordered.

It depends whether you want the performance to match the styling. The 1.5 is a great engine, but the 2.0-litre here is a different beast!

Cupra was not a "sub" brand of Seat, without Cupra which was actually the Sport division of Seat, Seat would not have wone the awards it has
