Chiefs fan. With the Broncos going through so much crap recently, firing head coach, drama with the qb, etc. y’all played HARD. Gave us a hell of game! Much respect.

It's hard to tell how much of what happened to Denver this year can be blamed on Wilson regressing and how much can be blamed on Hackett's incompetence as a head coach, but at least we'll have all next year to figure it out...

That's unreal. The one offensive coach that DIDN'T get playcalling duties during Hackett's tenure gets them and we put on one of our best games of the season. Hackett might've been worse than McDaniels and Joseph. He was abyssmal. Great show of heart by Denver.

You guys can criticize Russ all you want. It's not all of his fault, it's the offensive line that's giving up sacks and hits. We have to regroup this off season. We'll be ready next season, having Javonte Williams and Latavius Murray, that would be a good running back duo
I'm rooting for these Broncos and hopefully they will have a better next season..people have really piled on this team, especially Russ...they had a bad season for sure, but I'm looking for them to learn from this season and rise above it moving forward.

yeah, only 3 losses even with the offense not scoring nearly as close as they used to and Mahomes having the worst season in his career with multiple interception games, something doesn't add up in your logic.

Just one week with a hardass coach and the Broncos showed a marked improvement! Imagine what they can accomplish with Payton, Harbaugh or Quinn at the helm! They have the experience and the genius to really turn things around.

Watching Mahomes with the Chiefs or Doncic with the Mavericks is an absolute blast at the moment. Both superskilled, supersmart and with that crazy feel and intuition for the game. Thanks for the show!

Glad to see Russ has accepted that he isn’t a pocket passer. He does well running the ball and getting out of the pocket, just like all those years in Seattle. If all the reports I’ve read are true about him wanting to be more like Brady, Manning, Brees, etc, then it looks like losing has humbled him. Wish him all the success next year, but am grateful he gave us some high draft pics. Go Hawks!
I think I found the only other seahawks fan who still likes Russ. Rooting for him next year but grateful for the draft picks. Hopefully GB loses and we win next week, go hawks!

@@nathangresham7126 when Russ starts to run around he's in his element. I think Schottenheimer tried way too hard to turn Russ into a pocket passer and some of that might still be with him. When designed rollout plays are called, Russ looked really good

The O line *will* pickup the QB on every play, no more passive/aggressive antics on the field, they let Russ run more to try to keep the defence off balance, and played to their strengths, and an excellent defensive effort by the Broncos against a 13-3 Chiefs.
Looks like Coach had a proper Come To Jesus meeting and stated exactly where the bar is on behavior, and played a much better game.

I'm not sure why so many people are surprised this game was as close as it was. The Broncos are not a bad team and if they had a top 10 offensive line they could easily have pulled it out. Also, divisional games are always close no matter which league you are talking about. They play each other a lot and they build their teams to compete at that level first. Compared to 20 years ago, NFL teams are as evenly matched as a sport gets.

That play at the end of the half, I feel was the difference. But despite the loss, I think it was an encouraging performance for next year. They looked more like a team, just had a few miscues. Maybe next year.

I'm disappointed that we lost to the Chiefs again, we were so close, and we kept it closer. Russ played a decent game, he threw a TD, and ran 2 TDs. The offensive line needs to get better. I believe next season, whoever our next head coach, will turn it around, and help Russ fix this offense

Honestly, that offensive pass interference call on Sutton (that seemed like BS from my neutral perspective) was the difference between who won that game. It was that big of a play call. I'm still rather curious why the Bronco's coach didn't challenge that ruling. I feel like he had a real case to review there.

Duh. Russ was balling out there. He's quick like lightning. Good decision making. Interception was not his fault. If one defender gets free Russ jukes them every time. His eyes never missed any wide open receivers all game. Definitely was Hackett. They also scored more points today than last time they played the chiefs with Hackett coaching.

I hope so but Raiders gave SF a run for the money today. When we dominated SF they were missing half their defense and hadn’t started clicking like as of late. Raiders could very well surprise our Chiefs who have been winning but in completely uninspiring fashion against lousy teams. Watch Cincy beat Buffalo and KC let 1 seed slip right thru their fingers by losing to Raiders. Need a better special teams game, an actual running game that opponents fear and a top 10 defense. Our defense is very porous.

The kicking issues have been a nonstop disaster this year…wtf is going on. Also the offense has either fumbled the ball or Mahomes has thrown a red zone pick taking points away in literally all but 2 games this year?! If this team just played a clean game they’d probably go undefeated or at least no more than 1 loss a year. Kinda crazy
They just need to clean up some play, sort butker out and stop Williams giving away penalties and they'll be superbowl champs again. I don't see it going all the way this year though, that secondary is way too easy to throw on

The rude words penalty was a joke, but there's always something today was the hands to the face penalty that didn't affect the play at all but gave them five yards on 4th and 7 but resulted in a first down? Been a painful season but they somehow still contend and look amazing when it clicks. Need mecole back and some better wr depth next year. Get someone big like Metcalf or Williams not these tiny quick guys with bad hands
I feel like the Chiefs can win any game, but also lose any game. They have moments of brilliance and then follow it with unbelievable blunders. As a disgruntled Dolphins fan, I will root for them in the playoffs, given that we are not going anywhere. But, right now, I have to say that Buffalo and Cincinnati are playing much better and there are some dark horse teams like the Chargers who could upset anyone.
As a hawks fan, I hope Wilson does great next year. But I'm thrilled he didn't this year...thanks for the solid draft Wilson...your last gift to the Hawks!

I'll never forget one game last season when the announcer was talking about how amazing Harrison Butker was and all his accomplishments and 30 seconds later he missed. I know he's supposed to be really good, but I feel like every time I turn on a Chiefs game (not often) I see him miss.
Justin Simmons is the best safety in the NFL, he picked off Mahomes in the red zone. He was 6 INTs so far. I'm glad we have Justin Simmons, and got a new contract

Cause it's the NFL. The bad teams are not as bad as people make them out to be. You don't get to the NFL cause you don't know how to play football. Go look at all the bottom teams every year in the league. You'll see a lot of one score games. There's a fine line between the good and bad teams of the league. Look at the Rams. Win a Superbowl one year and not even sniffing the playoffs the next.
Because they arent a dominant team. Bills win by 22 last week and get criticized for not blowing teams out. What a joke.

With Jerry Rosburg as the Interim Head Coach and the Broncos dealing with a lot of injuries and keeping up with the Chiefs twice this season. There is hope for this team heading into next season when they hire the right Head Coach and getting a lot of players back from injuries.

Also showed his blazing speed. Can't outrun or juke a single defender anymore. Great decision making. Lucky not to have two interceptions. But I agree, he did show the whole package and it's nowhere near worth 250 million.

@@daltonellis4585 Chiefs fans being Chiefs fans, 13-3 with Mahomes having the worst season in his career, no starting RB and not putting any stellar performances the whole year, you can thank your defense for your record this year cause Mahomes fcked up a lot the whole season with INTs and short fields that YOUR defense stopped all season in close games, this offense didn't roll over any team this season, defense held up a LOT, go learn football before downplaying the one's carrying your team, casual.
I just don't understand why the Chiefs don't take defense seriously. It makes the team incomplete. The offense can't carry the team all the damn time. The Chiefs' defense sucks and what's up with the special team missing extra points and field goals?

Yep. Wilson was out there making amazing decisions. Lucky to not have two interceptions and there won't be many games where he can just run open into the end zone. Plus he only gets older and takes up more cap space. Plus they scored more points against the chiefs last time when Hackett was the coach.

I feel like ever since our Chiefs won Super Bowl 54 against 49er’s, everyone has been trying to beat our Chiefs, and I mean everyone, it could be the suckiest team on the planet, it’s like they have to beat them, Chiefs will always be the Super Bowl champions to everyone, even though the buccaneers beat the chiefs last year, it doesn’t matter, or nobody cares, they just want to beat Coach Reid, Mahomes and Kelce. Cuz everyone knows they’re amazing players. That’s why this games are so damn close knitted with the plays but we always come through. Go Chiefs.

Before this KC win streak against Denver, Denver won 7 straight and 8 of the previous 9 vs KC. Now KC has almost doubled that. These teams used to be evenly matched and split the series every year...
I know there’s a lot of chiefs fans in the comments but Russell played his ass off!! With the exception of the one interception, he looked damn good. I hope this team gets an offensive line and rallies around him next year
