I’ll echo what someone said, I was going to replace one map bulb. For the price of about 2 bulbs from the auto parts store you get an assortment of bulbs for the same price………….unreal!!!!!!! I ended up changing all of them, can’t thank you enough. Great video and the link for the bulbs, AWESOME. One huge complaint though, the damn little box they come in is a PIA to open, every time I opened it most bulbs shoot out and because it’s hard to open the plastic box.
That's the truth about halogens! Well I'm running a set off DDM Tuning HID's in the Pilot (ddmtuning.com/index.php) but am currently running a set of AOLEAD LEDs in my CRV (www.amazon.com/s?k=AOLEAD) and have ran a set of BEAMTECH LEDs (www.amazon.com/stores/BEAMTECH/page/) a previous vehicle of mine. The HIDs are an older set and I do have issues with one of them going out every now & then where I have to adjust the wiring for it it come back but have been very satisfied with both sets of LEDs. I ran the BEAMTECHs for a little over a year and am coming up on two years with the AOLEADs in my CRV, no issues with either!
Thank you🙏🏼No, I haven't had to clean or replace the back-up cam yet due to cloudiness outside of just wiping & drying it when I wash the car. Have you tried wiping the camera lens with a micro-fiber towel or a sensitive baby wipe? Or is it underneath of the protective lens that covers the camera?
@@mattpettit4690 That is strange... are you trying to replace with a factory halogen bulb or an LED? If LED, did you try connecting in the opposite direction to reverse polarity?
So you tried replacing both sets of dome light bulbs and they're still out? If so, did you try taking the 194 bulbs out spinning them? Although I couldn't see all four bulbs being reversed, it is something to rule out! Also I'm sure you checked this but make sure the door light switch between front map lights is turned on.
Rear cargo door light not the same as as the front !!! And the 194s very loose on 2013 Honda Pilot i have to return them! Any ID with what to get , thank you nice work !
Sorry to hear that! In my '14 Pilot which should be the same as a '13, the front map lights (between visors) are the same bulb as the rear cargo (hatch door). And in my experience, some types of 194 bulbs can be a bit loose depending how they're made but you can typically make them work by expanding the metal prongs out a little. I have product links to all the lights I used in the description which worked in my 2014 as seen in the video. Good luck!
I was just planning to do the 2 map bulbs in front but after watching your video with the links whole car is complete. You rock thanks !!
Yea the whole car looks great!👌🏻
Thanks so much for documenting this process. Very useful knowing where to pry. Always worried about breaking a brittle clip.
I agree! Thanks!🙏🏻
Awesome video! Thank you so much. I’m changing my lights this week!!🎉🎉🎉🎉

Helpful video, Brother! Thank you & Good Luck!
Glad to hear!
Hey, thanks for creating the video. Just did my Pilot, all worked. Also, the advise on using a tape to remove the bulb was great.

Hello. Excellent video but, what about the gear shifter light and the glove compartment light?
Thanks! I actually haven't replaced those two yet but plan on doing and will make an update vid when I do. They should both be a T5 / 74 bulb!

It really is wild what you can get! The packaging mine came in wasn't bad but imagine they can come in different packaging. Thanks🙏🏻
Thank you for demonstrating 👍🏼

Do you happen to have a link to some good LED headlamp bulbs? The brightest halogen headlamp bulbs just aren’t bright enough. Thanks.

this was great thanks!! Have you ever had to clean or replace the cover for the back up camera? my 2011 camera is cloudy - would like to fix. thanks

I have changed the passenger map light and switch but the light still will not work and ideas? 2011 Pilot EX-L
Interesting... is that the only light not working? I would also check the door ajar switch in driver & passenger door jams if you haven't already!
@@Chendyy door switches both work, all other lights work using the open door switch and or the manual on switch. It is so confusing.

@@Chendyy replaced factory with LED. I will tri flipping the bills again.
@@mattpettit4690 I am at a loss if that doesn't work and it's the only light not working. Sorry, wish I had more insight!
My done light doesn't work.. but map light works.. do you think it's the fuse or bad wiring? 2nd and third row dome out.

awesome but the question is. Does it work for a 2011 honda pilot?
Hi! Yes, this should be the same process & bulb numbers for all '09 - '15 second gen Pilots
Thank you!
Awesome
Thank you
Light it up!!
The only way!
Thanks
This song is suck
(But thanks for the tutorial)
