I think filler injections to the face should be done with ultrasound guidance for safety and peace of mind.. In my opinion the Ultrasonography-guided Cannula Method for Hyaluronic Acid Filler would put a lot of worries to rest. And as a patient I would definitely opt for a doctor who has this equipment and uses this method. The technology exists so why aren’t all doctors using it? An ultrasound machine can’t be that expensive. I would pay extra for fillers to be safe and not risk my eyesight. Im sure others would agree.

So, I see the artery goes more around the mouth. So, if I got a filler done in the corners of the mouth ( like right in the corners, not the marionette lines ) is that safe area? as long as they stay right there? or are there other veins to watch out for?

Doc, i'm cosidering to do subcision for my acne scar. Is it tend to rupture the artery too since i've mostly got scars on my cheek and near the labial artery?

Hi Redhia, there are other treatments available for acne scars apart from subcision. If the concern is near the artery, you can consider other options such as lasers, Fractional RF Microneedling .. etc. Speak to your doctor for a closer assessment and recommended solutions.
