Carlisle YESSS !!!! and I want to mention Rose Prick by Tom Ford which I know doesn’t get a rave of love from the community but it’s a top tier fall/winter frag in my eyes - the colder the better.

Awesome video, Chris! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. To me, Aventus is the Stairway to Heaven of the fragrance world. Is it a classic? Yup. Is it popular? Yup. Is it one of the best of all time? Absolutely. Has it inspired dupes? Multitudes of them. Is it overdone and played out? Definitely. Great list, man. Be well! 👍

If I had to get one Parfums de Marly it would be Carlisle with Herod being an extremely close second. I was very close to pulling the trigger this Christmas, but there are so many rare or soon to be discontinued fragrances. Great list, yea like you say we could have guessed them 😜 but that's cos we definitely know your tastes by now... We at number 5 maybe Joop Homme, a great starter one and it stays with you for life. 4 bvlgari man in black, class for everyone. 3 dior homme the original, not as complex as the other two and again an easy one to dip your toe into. 2 Raspberry Vanilla from PS who's not going to love that and very affordable and 1 Back to Black a Kilian most people are going to love not challenging and pure class and well started me on my journey
Some great fragrances on the list. Loved Aventus but definitely now a different fragrance from the first 5 years. Fresher not as smokey and definitely weaker. Enigma would love to try. Another great vid 👍
I find Chanel AHS EE overpriced. It smells great, but it doesn't last long and it does not project very well. IMO if I spend nearly £100 on a fragrance (100ml) it has to be better. Pure Havane has the same performance issues, but you can find that for £40 or less. The fragrance I would recommend the most is Dior Homme Intense.
@@jonniewaniak4494 But in my opinion, if I have to re-spray after a couple of hours or spray twice as much to make it last, I run out of juice twice as fast and the actual cost is therefore twice as high. Making it way to overpriced for me.

Is there something special about coca cola smell in that perfume that makes it recommendable?
Hey, considering the price vs performance (current formulation is weak) I would suggest to check out other similar fragrances. If you have big money, then I suggest checking out Carved Oud by Thameen - really monstrous performance for the same'ish price as oud wood. I heard that Agar from Alexandria Fragrances is a very good clone of Oud Wood with great performance. Oud Noir from Versace is also very interesting and very good for less money. Cambodian Oud from Swedoft is another similar less expensive fragrance. I also wanted to buy Oud Wood but ended up buying Cambodian Oud from Swedoft (130 EUR for 100 ml) which I can say is very good.
