Thank you so much for doing this video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. You’re so right; we all need to just do what we can. Enjoy what we’ve done and celebrate every little “win” we get. ❤️🇨🇦
I am so happy you enjoyed it! We of course could work day in and day out to get it all done but then we don’t have time to do what God has called us to do! I love celebrating all the little wins! 😁
Well Missy Sunshine, I really enjoyed watching you do all the stuff. It made me feel better just to see 'stuff' getting done - encouraging. I've also decided why your smile is so contagious - it is your whole face not just your mouth. You light up and get all smiley eyed and it spreads to me! THANK you for your joy in the garden even when it's just 'work' as that encouragement is what I need today. Hot feels like 105F, with thunder storms rolling in right now. Hopefully fully laded with rain that wants to drop. LOL.
Oh Mary, you are so kind and such an encouragement to me. I light up when I see you have left a message! I love knowing I am not working in the garden alone! I hope you get your rain and things cool down! 😁❤️
I needed your encouragement and realism today. It's 100 ° on my deck at noon and it's humid. Not weather this northern Canadian is used too. The same for the next 10 days! Watering and minimal deadheading and weeding is about all i can manage in the early morning hours. So thankful my local farmers market will supply us with veggies to can and freeze. It's ok to rest, it's ok to learn new skills as we go. I am so proud of you that you put others before personal goals that make you look good. If we were all a little more transparent, i am sure we would be more encouraging others. Sending a virtual hug and sending blessings to you and yours.
Oh Barb, I so understand that hot humid weather! We have had a taste of it, but I know that August will bring more. I have had to get out first thing in the morning like around 6:30 or 7:00 and have to be in by around 11 or 11:30 because my forehead is just pouring with water. I carry a towel with me so that my glasses don’t get wet. I pray that your next 10 days will be bearable for you and that will be the last of that 100° weather that you have to endure. 🥺❤️
@@OpenHandFarm it sure is a learning experience. My husband is retired and has temperature and rain gouges all over the place. Our south facing deck was only 6 degrees cooler than Death Valley at about 2 pm.
Hello! And thank you for watching and commenting. I’m always so excited to hear from our viewers. I am so glad you enjoyed the video and yes, in the end we always do manage! We just have to hang in there! Little by little gets the job done. Blessings on your garden!😁

😳
Thanks. It is so true! I am doing exactly the same in my garden. Bit by bit, one job at the time and we will all get there in the end :)

I've really been trying to keep my weeds from going to seed. So time consuming but hoping it will pay off next year.
Oh Annette! You and me both. Life has been so busy with extra things I just can’t always do it! Blessings on your weeding friend! 😁
