Hi Emily! I am so sorry it took me so long to reply, I just saw your comment! That's incredible! Nomade would be a great choice I think, it's more chill and nicer than some of the other hotels on the beach (not as crazy parties). Be Tulum is also supposed to be very nice and similar!
Do the restaurants on the beach zone take credit card? I know to expect to pay in cash when I’m in the downtown area but since the nicer, more expensive restaurants receive more tourists I was wondering if I can pay card when I go to the nicer restaurants.

Hello Natasha, Mexican food is also famous in Austria and in my neighbour-village, there is even a Mexican restaurant. As I love spicy food, Mexican cuisine can´t be neglected. At which hour does the "tourist mile" in Tulum become insecure? I have travelled to Egypt several times. It was hot, nice and secure - if you are a man. You won´t believe how Egypt man are running after Western women. One time, I went the tourist mile with another man and three young girls. We were constantly busy to defend the girls and after about 1 km, we had to go back, as me and the man were totally exhausted chasing off egyptian men and male teenagers. If you ever travel to Egypt, be aware of that and go only out in a bigger group. Police didn´t really do anything against that. To end with the actual topic, my most favourite food is Kebab. It can be found everywhere in Europe. Merry Christmas for a second time and kind regards from Austria, Mathias
Half of your suggestions are based on "what I've heard so" . Don't make a guide if you haven't tried it. Taboo is a place to get wild, not a spot to have a dinner. Just been there on Friday and laughed when two guys tried to "fine taste" some steak while the next table was jumping on the tables. 🙈
I’ve eaten at 80% of these restaurants. I didn’t want to leave important ones out just because I didn’t personally eat there because then this review would be biased and not complete. If you prefer more of a civilized dinner I suggest you go during the week and not during high season. I think you meant “steak” not stake... 😬

Yes I agree, but having lived in tulum for a few months and knowing the opinions of others who have eaten there a lot I wanted to share them as well to give as much insight as possible in this video, my other videos are more about my opinion and vlogs, hope that makes sense
