    Perfect tie! I love your style of tying much, use Bombers and the CS42 - hook for years. Simply excellent.

    I just found out this summer that I was "fishing my Bombers wrong "!!!
    I have been skating them when salmon fishing(and catching that way) but a man from the UK was horrified when he saw that!!!
    I will keep on doing that though since it works.

      Skimming them on the Galway weir gets great results when fish are showing, its the only way I present them.

      @Sigurdur Olafsson:
      There is no best way to fish a Bomber. One day, the "normal" upstream dry fly dead drift works best, the next day a downstream presentation works, the following day a skated Bomber is the way to go. It's the salmon that decides what is best!
      Sometimes a change in fly size and colour can make a big difference.

    Loved it Ryan. Have you ever caught a salmon on one of these Ryan. I've tried them a few times without real success. By that I mean, that I have observed fish on two occasions that I saw, positively move to the fly, but they never took it. Both times were in clear low water in the middle of the day, not the best times, I know.

      no i tried this year over a pool stuffed with fresh fish but at distance so i cant tell if any investigated i tied some for another guy to fish the bann and he said he had a couple slash at it strange that fish should take them so confidently in canada and not here

      @@RyanHoustonflytying Yes it's odd Ryan. It might be worth a try in last light or dawn, I'll keep trying. Thanks for the reply.
