Get to the boss with a low score so that when you beat him, you won't gain an extra life before the next stage. If you have more than one life, use the Mijin ninjitsu to kill yourself until you have 0 lives. Defeat the boss and as soon as his head falls to the ground use Mijin to kill yourself. Instead of taking a "Game Over" you will go to the next stage.
Now while you don't gain a life, or die, you can use Mijin whenever you want! The ideal is to earn your life by points before the boss, so you can enjoy this glitch for longer.
Life is gained at 50,000 points and then every additional 100,000 points.
