The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has a total capacity of 400,000. Literally the largest sports venue in the world
What about Maracanã Stadium it has reduced capacity but used to host over 150,000 of people. 1954, a new official attendance record was set in the game between Brazil and Paraguay, after 183,513 spectators entered the stadium. In 1991, Norwegian pop band a-ha broke the world record at that year's Rock in Rio festival for a fee-paying crowd. 198,000 people attended. The highest attendece ever was 199,854.
Sick 👍🏻
This list is just crap
You missed Narendra Modi Stadium with a capacity of 132,000. LA Memorial coliseum shouldn't be on the list, it has a tiny(compared to the rest of the list) capacity of 77,500. If you don't include LA Memorial AND Modi #15 would have been the Rose Bowl.
Well, there is a football field (which has hosted football) in the middle of The Bristol Motor Speedway, which is a proper stadium with 157,000 seats. Regardless, the best stadium in the world is the $5 bn SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Barcelona hasn't been the best soccer Team for many years now and Messi is gone too.
Where is Bristol Motorspeedway at 150k capacity, and it even hosted football
The MCG rules for atmosphere for an AFL grand final!!!
It's mainly for cricket so you are wrong
Lionel Messi no longer plays for Barcelona.... left about 6 months ago ;)
That's okay. The Dallas Cowboys left the Cotton Bowl 51 years ago.
cowboys havent played at the cotton bowl since 1971
Arrowhead in Kansas City, Missouri definitely deserves to be on this list.
Great statement to our talent to concentrate populations.
They may have significant secrets or elements of innovative ideas for developing sporting venues that meet the latest needs in reasonable budgets.
and Covid said, hold my beer
If I remember correctly, the wrestling show, mentioned at the top spot, was a legitimate 120,000 people over 2 nights.
Beaver Stadium’s record attendance is 110,889 for a game in 2018
the mcg held over 121 thousand people in the 1970 vfl grand final
The stadium of MARACANA in Brazil is bigger than all of them. Its capacity is 120.000 seated people + 30 Thousand stood people. Pleeeeeeease find out quickly and correct. Huge hugs from Rio do Janeiro
Should do a part 2 according to the comments section..many more stadiums were left out😅
Forgot AT&T stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play. Red River Shootout is the actually name for the annual Texas vs Oklahoma game.
Yeah, they really messed up their facts on the Cotton Bowl. It was the original home for the Dallas Cowboys but they haven't played there since 1970. I'm glad somebody else caught that redundant "Red River Shootout" thing....
Top 5s sounds like simple history
I'm 💯 shocked you didn't include Astroworld in this list! 😂😂😂😂😂
The MCG also hosts Australian rules football for about 7 months of the year as opposed to cricket which is only played in the summer.
All the stadiums fit for all the "fans" to attend and pretend or imagine they're actually interested in what's going on there, no matter where they happen to be going to see their favorite teams.
This is a year old script I guess. Modi stadium is the biggest now, Messi is not in Barca anymore. Needed updates before posting.
What about the Gillette stadium
1st Stadium Is Where The Texas Long Horns Play Not The Dallas Cowboys Smh 😅
The "Battle at Bristol" holds the college football attendance record. It was played on September 10, 2016, between Virginia Tech and Tennessee. Attendance was 156,990, and was played at Bristol Motor Speedway.
what about Maracana stadium in brazil?isnt it host 199,000 spectator during world cup?
Looks like some facts are up for review... 🤔🤷♂️🖖
@@edynasilemak9224 my comment was regarding American college football attendance. I have no idea about soccer (football) because I don't follow it.
@@yakbreeder oo..mm,i feel u but the subject was about the biggest stadium in the world..so,i might not..wrong,rite?anyway,its ok..as far as we get the most valuable content here..INFORMATION..
@@edynasilemak9224 yes, the video was about stadiums, but the narrator mentioned largest attendance for American college football. I simply pointed the error in the video. I'm not trying to be argumentative.
Can Bristol Motor Speedway be classified as a stadium? Some people have called it a stadium, even though it mainly holds Nascar races. Seating capacity is 160,000, and it looks like a lot of stadiums shown in this video, so...
👍👍👍
You should have titled it the 15 largest US Football stadiums as when compared to the stadiums around the world very few in the US would be in the list. China and Europe would take all 15 of the top 15 places. The only US stadium in the same 'league' would be the new one in LA... where the 2028 olympics games will Actually be held.
College*
By capacity, you're totally wrong. The only European stadium in the top 15 in the world is the Camp Nou in 12th. North Korea's Rungrado 1st of May Stadium is 2nd with Narendra Modi in 1st at 132K. South Africa's FNB Stadium is 13th
US college football stadiums comprise 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th, and 15th. Which is amazing when you consider that the athletes can't officially get paid except by scholarships.... at least they couldn't until the new NIL ruling came down so the students own the use of their Name, Image, and Likeness.
SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles would only be 14th in the NFL alone at 70,240, and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (where the last Los Angeles Olympics were) only has a capacity of 77,500
TL;DR: Nice try, but no.
Biggest stadium in the making will be home of ESPORT gamers.
*Nascar leaves the chat*
PLEASE decrease your MUSIC BG next TIME
for this series of videos to be made in such recent times, there are sooooo many false statements or just ignorant things said in them.
Last..
This list is just crap! There are so many other stadiums not in this video
Why did America name all their towns & cities after every other countries cities. Can't they come up with their own names & not be Athens etc.... typical America lol
2nd 😳
First
Second
It's called football because unlike Americans we kick the ball with our feet 🤣
Colossal waste of time, energy, and resources....
all that money space and resources spent on something that serves only one purpose
and that purpose brings in BILLLLLIONS of dollars.
