I purchased a bottle of this yesterday. Last night was the neck pour. Let it sit half an hour, form my own opinions & its a decent dram. Well now Im adding a little water, letting sit half an hour or more & that sour pepperiness, turns into a kind of sour pineapple - its opened up & really delicious, this is its best form in my opinion. Kind of like Aultmore or Balblair with water ( not as complex, but the same base note )
Another great video. Really like your presentation. Not over the top....more along the lines of listening to a buddy recommending a bottle. I have learned quite a bit while watching all your scotch related videos and its really peaked my interest in trying scotches I've walked by many times while looking for a bourbon and/or rye. Will have to keep an eye out now for a bottle of Cutty Sark.
Thanks Hundy! … there are a lot of interesting juices on the shelves… sometimes just got to jump in and say what the heck! … sometimes you will find a gem. This one I think is definitely worth keeping an eye out for … good luck, and thanks for chiming in … cheers!
This is definitely worth adding to my shelf.. I am a whisky snob ... But, never say never! Hundy is right. Watching your vids is like hanging with a buddy.. Cheers!
Dude. This was the whisky that made me want to start a channel, so can shout out how amazing it is. Light on the grain with so much hearty malt, toffee and cream. Jelouse of the bigger size available to you but here in the UK can often grab it under £20! ($27) Great video, cheers.
lol ... Great minds think alike ... even if one of them figures it out a year after the first one ... lol. It's really great stuff. Unfortunately I noticed it was out of stock on my last trip to the liquor store .... I hope it is temporary. Cheers Jeff!
Great value, but I’ve noticed a LOT of bottle variation in the bottles. I’ve bought five bottles in the last two years and two have been fantastic, one decent, one disappointing, and one very bad.

I first tried it, last week, and I sure am enjoying it. You might be right about the malt ratio being higher than average.
Hey Jay! …. It’s great stuff isn’t it? … glad you are enjoying it too! …. Thanks for subscribing, Cheers!

I love your new jingle….. ‘gotta get every drooooppppp’
Ha ha … it’s kinda like a nursery rhyme.. but for lushes …lol
I get the pepper notes, not too much toffee. I do get vanilla almost bourbon like notes. I think it might be the oak
It’s pretty good stuff! .. thanks for Sharing Nadine . Cheers!

Interesting RobFut …. I have only had the two but they were both great. Thanks for the heads up! cheers!
@@happyhourwhiskey I’m still willing to roll the dice given how good the good bottles were, but it was an oddity I noticed
sounds delicious
It’s great stuff Rob … and an even better deal, if you can find it I highly recommend it … Cheers!
