      Please don't spread this misguided and false information. A faculty from IIT Kharagpur named Joydip Bhattacharjee died while saving his 4 year old son not him.

    If you guys facing issue with audio on one side only, And you are on android then it may help, it worked for me
    1. Go to mobile setting
    2. Search for audio (Mono audio for mi users)
    3. ENABLE that mono audio option.

    If you have audio issue, just use monotone setting in Android mobile and if through desktop use the monotone setting in Windows 10 OS. And enjoy the great teaching of prof Som

    For all the people who are saying that this lecture is useless i want to say that in this video he just wants to tell the purpose of studying thermodynamics and of what it is actually about.This video can create your interest in the subject.Thermodynamics is one of the most beautiful sciences and each and every process and event through out the universe are governed by laws from this basic science.He introduced the subject in excellent way.

    Profesor S.K. Som is really a True Legend of Thermodynamics..
    For those.. who really dislike Thermodynamics, gonna fall in love with this Subject.. Being a student of B.tech Food technology, I would suggest these video lectures for all the Branch of B.tech..appearing for GATE or other exams.. Lots of Respect to Sir🙏🙏🙏

    Prof. Som was one of the finest teachers at ME Dept in KGP. He had crystal clear concepts and animated & interactive delivery. One can see that energy level here also inspite of all the constraints imposed by the recording process.

    for audio with both the earphones ,
    1: copy URL of the video.
    2: open VLC on your PC.
    3: Go to FILE > Open Network and paste the URL.
    4: Then video will start in VLC media player.
    5: now select AUDIO > Stereo audio mode.
    6: select and see which one will give audio in both side, in my case
    (Audio > Stereo audio mode> mono).

    Extremely indebted to Prof SK Som. Have watched his lectures repeatedly while preparing for GATE. Helped me in cracking Gate. Felt sad when i came back here to see his video and saw comment that he is no more. Prof SK Som will be remembered by every engineer who has attended his classes. RIP!!

    One way to fix it without any effort would be to set your audio output to mono from studio. In case of mono audio output, the sound being played only on one side of the headphones would be played in both the sides. To do this in windows 10, go to ‘ease of access’ (just search for it) then to audio section and the enable mono. That should do the job.

    Nice lecture and hope you succeed a lot. Try 5x5 and higher cubes to grow.(Ll)’U2(Ll)’U2F2(Ll)’F2(Rr)U2(Rr)’U2(Ll)2. Thermodynamics is a great subject and I learnt a lot.

    The black board skill of this IIT Professor I needs improvement and is as messy as his lectures. . If he is lecturing to Indian students, it's OK. No student in other countries can make out his hard to understand pronunciation

    how identity is unique in control mass system
    if i compare 3 molecules of water
    all molecule have same identity

      Professor was talking about different phases, and identity is the substance used, whereas he used water, its the identical at 100 C (water, steam and Vapor) it exists in all three phases, and is not in equilibrium practically, but we've to consider it as in the equilibrium.

      thermodynamics is taught using classical physics. statistical approach is difficult. Consider classical method.
