This is the most composed and put together I’ve ever seen Andy. Although he will always be a skate rat pile in our eyes it’s good to see him add sobriety to his long list of fuckin awesome shit that makes him Andy Motherfuckin Roy🤘🏻
sending well wishes from the uk man! i relapsed today but got a few days but im also on maintanance so got that to kick too hopefully it will go good for me and i can fully repair after 25 years of using something
@@daleadelicI was addicted to heroin for 20 years and then methadone for 2 years what got me off everything was a drug called sublocade. Did four 1 month shots of it and then was done nothing else ever after that. While I was on the methadone for the first year I used fentanyl also but after the first year I realized I needed to get off everything but the methadone. If you can get down below 30 to 60 mg of methadone you'll have no problem switching over to sublocade. You can do something called the Bernese method which is titrating onto Suboxone from the methadone then after me on the on the Suboxone for a month you can get on the sublocade It's a once a month injection and you have no UPS or Downs you just feel normal all the time. And last in your system for about 9 months as it gradually lets you off everything very gradually. I highly recommend it. If you need any help or recommendations let me know
If you're an American and are still struggling with fentanyl I would highly recommend getting on Sublocade. That was on heroin for 20 years and then fentanyl for 2 years. I haven't used any heroin or fentanyl in over a year and a half. I use sublocade four times it's a once-a-month thing and after that I was completely done haven't used anything haven't had any cravings haven't ever gone back to opiate sense. If you need any help let me know
5 years later after quitting coke, alcohol and cigarettes myself. He's right, one day you wake up and its easy because like Andy said you're just tired of it all.
"Tired of it and so beat up" ..... anyone who has an addiction/substance problem that has been hanging around for too long, give that statement some thought. Do the hard yards and you know you'll feel better for it.
The term "gift of desperation" just recently made sense to me. I could never had understood that 4 months ago. I'm now 120 days clean and my life is slowly getting better and happier than I ever thought I could be.

SF legend. So sick to see his life turned around. I romance the hardcore party SF days with Andy included, but understand you either move on or die sometimes. Good on him.
wow he looks great. Im 48 and he was same age and quit everything. i even quit smoking cigarettes which was th3 hardest thing.i think as you age and approach 50 your mortality thoughts kick in and you want to stay alive. totally related to everything he said. respect Andy
So glad to see he stuck with it. I grew up loving this dude in the early 90's. I had a life changing illness in 2014 and almost died. It changed my perception of life.
That's awesome! Have over a year and a half clean for myself and one of the hardest things is getting back into the job market with no prospects and no trades and no school and I just lost my part-time job, thinking about going back to school not quite sure.
andy is luck to have been a good skater as he was younger. its really hard to leave drugs if you dont have a solid base of friends or family and something good to do professionaly with your life. im glad hes sober now, hope he can pass the word for the new generation about drug abuse as far as he can.
he said it perfectly when he said ‘i surrender’ if you are not at the point of completely being beat down and wishing for death instead of waking up the next day you’re not ready and it won’t work it’s sad to say but it’s true if you’re just thinking you can quit you can’t
I'm so stoked for Andy. I'm coming up on 3 years. Unfortunately, this kid shouldn't be interviewing anyone. He doesn't know how to ask a question or what questions to ask. I had to turn it off. Too annoying/cringe.
When I saw him on The Nine Club podcast, he looked like a totally different person. No homo, but he is a good-looking man when sober but too bad his ex didn't stick around. He relapsed in the beginning when he got clean and I guess it was too much for her.
Sometimes the damage and estrangement is permanent. I've been through it myself. They may still love you as a person and what you represented but aren't in love with you anymore and there's no way they can pursue a romantic relationship anymore. It's extremely painful. I've even known guys who have been divorced years into sobriety. Just because we get sober doesn't mean we aren't just as crazy. Sometimes crazier if your not looking after your mental and spiritual health.
It’s hard, sometimes you have to leave the one you love because of the addiction, I’m with someone who hid fenty addiction from me half our relationship, you try to love the person and know it’s a disease but then they don’t pay there bills, expect you to pay them so they can go blow 150$ a day! Then start asking you non stop for money so they are not sick etc. it’s pretty much impossible to stay with a opioid addict, it will push you to want to kill your self. I’m glad Andy is doing better! But let’s not shade any one that did not want to be with him while he was using, I’m sure he now that he is clean understands.
@@Lashes.541150 bucks a day?!! Wow I thought my fentanyl have it was expensive at $10 a day. Although I was getting the powder that was so pure it would melt down to a clear liquid and it was exceedingly scary strong. That pure White fentanyl brick powder was insane. 2 years of fentanyl addiction was worse than 20 years of heroin addiction. Thank God for sublocade got me off everything now don't use anything. God bless
