So interesting listening to Peter Jackson, his insight in😢to the making of Get Back documentary , but also him being a genuine fan. Absolutely love listening to someone who is a genius in his field. In awe of his talent, perspective. Glad a came across these interviews, well done!
Well, I’m glad to hear this interview, I bought and received the new Blu Ray release, I Love it and I’d certainly buy an extended cut version, if ever, I’m all for it. Please, Disney, approve it.
I've heard quite a lot of the 1970 Rolling Stone interview with John Lennon, and I'd not say it "dramatically" reduces the anger seen in the printed word. John is spitting out his words with great bitterness and spite a lot of the time. It was a moment in time, however, and Jann Wenner made it a much (over)used reference by sneaking off and making a book of it.
37:44 Have you seen "Rubber Soul"? It is a 2014 movie is a reconstruction* of two interviews Lennon gave to 'Rolling Stone''. I think it is a reenaction.

Thanks. Awesome interview...he's a fan...understatement. Also, great flow, which is often difficult to produce among real fans
So glad you got the in depth interview with Peter.
