I follow anything Beatles. You guys have been the best. The Beatles channel was my first go to. I'm interested in what, if any original tape exists for rubber soul, I'd include help, and revolver. Have these ever been remixed? "Remixed" not mastered. Remixed from pure raw original tape. Remixed like Giles did abbey road, pepper & the white album... Thx
I ask, because, when the question is asked; 'what album will you have if you could only have one?', and the answer for me is always rubber soul. How I would love to hear those vocals up front , the 3 three of them singing harmonies panned nicely left-right...ringos drumming up front...ah a new mix of TheWord...one can only dream...cheers!
Have always loved the Capitol version of, “Help!,” since receiving it for Christmas ‘65! It’s a true soundtrack recording with the orchestral and Indian music. It helps evoke what was actually happening in the film while listening.
A SAX IN HIDE YOUR LOVE AWAY! Your crazy! They could have done an acoustic guitar guitar solo, I have done it like that for years but I like the flute.
First time I ever heard that Lennon peaked in 64-65, I have always agreed with that sentiment. He was strong in 68, White Album, but he clearly peaked in the early days!
Did your mom work at the Ampex warehouse in Elk Grove? I had a friend who worked there and we got "damaged" cassettes and equipment at quite a discount! .
Ok - GOLD- Ticket To Ride & HELP, SILVER- Hide your love away & Your Gonna Lose That Girl, Bronze - THE NIGHT BEFORE. OK WELL NOTHING IS LOWER THAN A BRONZE!

“act naturally” and “what goes on” singing and playing drums the way he did Ringo was alright!

It’s gonna be alright sounds like a Hard Day’s Night clone to me. The ‘alright’ and the solo.
