Man, Yamaha is the way to go bro! I truly recommend to it. The pianos are so rich in sound. I love them. And the EPs are so many to choose from. All of them nice. Especially for church man. Truly recommend it

What type I’ll of monitors would you recommend? $300-$600 for a pair. I just bought korg Grandstage but it sounds bad with Roland Kc 350 amp. I’ve always had pianos sound terrible with this speaker.
KorgmcUSA - yeah I would invest on good monitors, $300 - $400 should get you really good monitors. Don’t use amps. You need a stereo set up. Try m-audio, Yamaha HS series are amazing. I myself have m-audio Bx5. Mackie has amazing ones

Best bet is to watch monitor reviews and go hear some at your local store because everyone has their own preferences. What they like you might hate so only you can make a choice so take some music and get them to hook up a modx for you to listen too and see which you like. All the best

A Kenny Rodgers song i listen to the faults really stand out and you wouldn't believe how speakers hide a lot of faults in certain frequencies. Hope you get to try them out and all the best.

Just got my MODX7. So far I'm lovin it. So many options for ...well just about everything! Weighted Keys on the MODX8 that I tried are amazingly nice but opted for the 7 for cost savings. Do you have a list of your fav "performances" as Yamaha calls them? Maybe a vid showing the name and then about 5 seconds of playing it rather than full songs? Just a thought as I FF on this one to get to the names then listened for a few seconds... then onto the next. Keep having fun making the videos!

Mate, better to stick with what you know and love in that case. I've owned all the equipment you mentioned, and yes they are awesome, but to hear a MODX through some good speakers is something special (FYI - I own a MODX7).
