I use my phone as a tool not a toy. The way Apple devices interconnect is just pure ease and time saving. Idc how much it costs because I treat Apple products like a car which I only upgrade every 5 years or so.

the “face id” in most androids are really really bad compared to apple i tried using it when i had the nothing phone and when i had my samsung and it was so unreliable and just an unpleasant experience i thought itd be the same when i finally got an iphone and the difference is insane

Considering we all love the ability of android to customize everything, while also loving the stability and reliability of the IOS this is looking like a great upgrade. Looking forward to test it from a both systems user. Love to switch it back and forth between Iphones and Galaxy every now and then.

Wouldn't it make more sense to shift from android to iOS now? At least in my case and a few others I know, the reason we would never shift from android to iOS is because android has so far ahead and has many features that's completely missing from iOS but Apple devices are so much better when in an ecosystem so now the gap for not shifting has reduced and its more compelling to shift.

Jailbreak has been giving android and ios ideas since forever. Now that jailbreak is almost non existent its good to see apple giving more and more features from jailbreak era. Personally even though I was able to customize the sh*t out of iphones I always found myself returning to stock looks. Same with android too, with all that launchers and themes there was always a trade-off that made me return to stock. I would love to see the percentage of users that actually customize their phones.

id like to have full ios18 in EU -> Poland. For years (about 18) no Siri in polish in 40 mln country. No good maps updates, no fitness+, no news, and now, no mirroring, no AI, and we paying more $$ for iPhones for nothing.

But being able to turn off different kinds of notifications for apps would be nice though (like on Android where notifications from apps are categorized and you can choose to turn off one kind and leave the rest)
