Wow! The point you made about not forcing their vocals physically and it coming from the diaphragm is so true. Their bodies were totally relaxed. I’m glad they’re showing off their raw talent like this! I’ve never seen kpop groups do dance practices with live vocals. I hope this becomes more common👏🏼
Also - I’ll never understand how they’re able to do crazy choreo and maintain such stable vocals! So much respect 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Actually Itzy has been doing this as well. Look for Itzy Stage Practice on RUclips. JYP is training their idols well for this, good on them

I'm so happy to see sullyoon (the one with the yellow pants) get more lines now that she seems more confident, her voice is so good like she could easily be the main vocalist in most other girl groups
Her voice is kinda airy but she can be main vocal with another vocalist.. when she goes high it's like strained or airy like how umji was in apple with her chrous

I haven’t really liked Nmixx’s music until this comeback! ‘Love me like this’ had me screaming like oh I didn’t know they could do that…. Also you should check out sweet juice by purple kiss
They’re so good! I wish they didn’t have so much controversy surrounding their debut bc it’s brought them so much unnecessary hate every since but it seems this comeback is finally putting ppl on, the talent has ALWAYS been there though!

the one you didn't notice as much is Bae.....makes sense she's not QUITE as confident as the others. She generally has a much lower register vs the others and this song is HIGH. Fun fact......Bae is actually cousins with Suzy (yes, THAT Suzy)

I know you said Bae didn't stand out to you in the performance practice but you did say nice diaphragm when she sang second so maybe you just forgot as the performance went on and the loud vocal line came in 😂. I think she is just quieter than the others so it doesn't sound as confident as like Lily who's power comes out the screen and slaps you in the face! They sounded great with the live band I loved that performance. I do wish the highlight medley was less produced like you said more like how Purple Kiss does theirs cuz I love that acapella!!! I love that same move you like! In fact the whole chorus choreo is fire!!! The hips ain't lying!

I think that for the acapella medley they simply muted the instrumentals from the actual final product songs, would have been great with the raw studio vocals

Can't believe I managed to miss this! I thought I had set the notification for this. Anyway, NMIXX are so impressive. I wish I loved the songs themselves a bit more. Love Me Like This might be my favorite from the ones that I've seen having stages so far.
Bae is like the backbone to the group she may not be acknowledged that much but she is a really important factor to Nmixx
Yes, what’s good about bae is she can be fun and loud (if you watch nmixx content she’s actually the loudest and one of the most energetic) but if it’s work related like singing and dancing she is so professional and focused that’s why she’s able to produce such underrated vocal moments
Sooo good. My only thing is in the itslive when Lily and Haewon harmonised they didn’t lock eyes once and I like it when people do that when harmonising 😂
I never hated the experimental stuff but it covered their true ability. Who else is doing a true dance practice with live vocals??? Some of the other girl aren't singing live on actual stages and here they are just in the dance room, casually hitting these notes.

Well damn, Bae only stood out to me when she had the short hair, when she had extensions I barely notice her presence in the group. Her short hair added more charisma to her whole stage name "bae" I just wish the ar team would invest more in training Bae and make her leave the stylistic approach and teach her how to make proper facial expressions whenever they perform cuz girly looks so bored on stage.

Plus you didn’t need to add that she needs more training, she already knows she’s lacking in singing and dancing compared to the others. She doesn’t need the constant reminder that she’s not as good as the other girls. No need to beat a dead horse. And if you really never noticed her before, are you even a fan???? She definitely stands out when it comes to variety content.
i dont always like their music and thats fine coz music is subjective but you cannot deny skills and in terms of skill nmixx is probably at the top of 4th gen GGs. apart from rapping ( they're not bad but pretty mid) everything else is really great especially their live skills.

How can JYP have NMIXX, a fairly new and still kinda of "rookies" be better than their seniors? Like they could teach the whole of itzy how to sing because I still think ITZY is one of the most vocally unimpressive group of 4th gen. I know they focus more on dance but damn, even nmixx is outstanding at dancing. I just think a group like them should be the standard. Its giving SM entertainment group vibes. Especially second gen groups, most of them had these abilities as NMIXX.
They really hit the jackpot in talent with these girls.

i was really disappointed when the album didn't sound as good as the acapella version, the lack of harmonies and terrible instrumentals just killed it for me and i love the girls voices 😭
Paxxword is actually good tho, that one definitely sounded the same as the acapella version since harmonization is there so I suggest paxxword. I was looking forward to Home and Just did it but it all went down as soon as i hear the rap (not my cup of tea) so Paxxword, My Gosh, and LMLT is my top 3 in expergo.
I loved the instrumentals for Just Did It, but I'm so disappointed with the song, it feels so incomplete lyrically I KNOW YOU JUST DID IT BUT WHAT DID YOU DO, WHY ARE WE VIBING SO HARD TO NOTHING
It had the potential to be my fav but it feels like undercooked spicy chicken
@@martacastillo6272 the song “Just Did It” means that the girls have finally gotten the attention/love from someone they’ve been admiring. Hence the words just did it (meaning they finally got the attention/love from someone). Hope this little explanation helped!
