Absolutely beautiful! Christopher Reeve would have loved it!
I commend JND for taking on collectors feedback (wish they would for Arwen!) but I have to agree that the OG especially in the eyes capture Reeve perfectly. As Daniel initially said, most of the issue was with the high hair which is easily rectified. I think the best option would be to ask the community via email which they would prefer and go with the consensus like what they did with the Catwoman base recently. As I've purchased the duo set, I would definitely pick the OG from the images shown so far.

PLEASE fix the cape! It should ride much higher around the back of his neck and not around the collar line. It’ll make the display even better and make the neck look less long. Thanks!!

Priced out for me but it is a beautiful likeness of Reeve as Superman. Reeve as Clark is just amazing too!!! Man wish I could own the dual! Would love it!

1st sculpt was so infinitely superior. It was so rare and beautiful and now this feels like every Superman statue ever made. I love what y’all tried to do with this by listening to the fan, but you ruined something so beautiful and you caved to pressure that you should’ve never felt.

I’m slightly disappointed. Christ Reeve’s Superman should look more relaxed. One of the strongest feature of Reeve’s Superman is the natural sense of confidence and this statue doesn’t show 😢 his character never looks this serious and tense throughout the movies.
@@unknowncollector6923 one of the best part of Christ Reeve Superman is he looks so relaxed, confident and even compassion because of his strength. It makes people believe he’s from another better planet and he’s here to protect us. Too bad JND missed the opportunity again.
I’m struggling with this one. The first version captured Reeve’s character more, in my opinion. The newer version feels too stern. There’s no life in the eyes and they’re probably too small. The hint of a grin he usually has is gone. A more prominent spit curl would help, too. Maybe some of this can be fixed with better lighting. I hope…

Hmmm. JND - I applaud the effort but as many others have said, this does appear to have lost the essence of Reeve a little. I'm sure you won't be changing it AGAIN, but if you did, the eyes should be wider and the slight smirk should be introduced again. The head should also be enlarged as it's clearly too small on the body currently. Christopher Reeve was very vocal in interviews about how he wanted to play the character of Superman as the "friend". Sure, he looks stern in some scenes where he's confronting Lex Luthor, but you really should have gone to the look he has after just saving Lois from the helicopter accident or his relaxes expression when Lois is interviewing him on her balcony for the first time. I've still got my dual on pre-order from one of your retailers, but I do wish that the Superman had been improved to the point that it was comparable with excellence seen on the Clark Kent portrait.

To clarify about my "eyes should be wider" comment. I mean that the eyes should be open more as Chris Reeve was very wide-eyed in the movie. The make-up artists even added white eyeliner on his eye make-up to give the illusion that his eyes were even wider / more open.
