I always apreciate the effort to communicate scientific findings to a wider audience.
Sadly the conclusions made in this video are definetly not based on actual scientific findings.
I undestand that necessary simplifications have to be made, but here I am confident that these studies were intentionally selectively quoted and their meaning purposefully altered to fit the narrative that is to be told here.
From "Breakfast does not help you to loose weight" you jump to: "Breakfast has no benefits" (compare 2:42)
Your first source specifically states that weight loss might not occur because of breakfast consumption.
    "This review questions the
recommendation for breakfast consumption in guidelines aimed at weight loss in adults" (Quote from Study)
    The same study states:
    "Although eating breakfast
regularly could have other important effects, such as improved concentration and attentiveness levels in childhood"
At 2:33 this quote is briefly visible in the video. From that i have to conclude that you know exactly that you are misrepresenting the findings.
Since there is a wide range of circumstantial effects and correlation at play studies considering our eating habits are especially tricky. That is a fact well known by people working in the field (researchers too!).
Here you are maliciously misrepresenting these studies.
There is a difference in telling an opinion and acting like your message is grounded in science.
After beeing a long-time viewer of your content i stopped following you quite a while ago because of similar reasons. It is saddening to come back after a long timeseeing this.
All studies are linked below their video.
btw: I am not saying: "without breakfast you are going to die", I am saying: "There probably are some benefits to eating a healthy breakfast."

What is a corn flake? How is it made?
First, the kernels of corn are soaked in lye. Lye is a caustic, corrosive substance that will burn skin off your body. It's used in making rayon, soaps, and-breakfast cereals.
After the soaking, the kernels are blasted by live steam. Then a flavoring syrup full of mostly white sugar is poured over the soaked and steamed corn.
Next, the kernels are dried until they're hard. Then they're run through huge rollers that press down with 75 tons of pressure to flatten them out. Now they're ready to be toasted, heated and flaked one more time. Then they get their last dosing of preservatives, additives and chemicals and are packaged up in a brightly colored box with a picture of an athlete, animal, or cartoon character on the front.
Originally you had a grain of corn, fairly rich in protein, phosphorus, Vitamin A, and the three major B vitamins. Now you've got a sugar-frosted flake that has no original vitamins, few minerals, and an altered protein that is harmful to the body. What's more, you're probably paying five to ten times as much for this processed, denatured food than you would if you had just bought the original whole grain

I found that a lot of study on whether breakfast affects concentration usually don't take into account whether they regularly eat breakfast or not, and make breakfast eaters skip it, or vice versa. I'm a breakfast skipper, if I eat breakfast it makes me feel uncomfortable and bloated - I don't feel hungry until nearer to lunch time. If I was a breakfast eater, of course skipping it would make me hungry and have poorer concentration. The main point in this video seems to be just carry on what you feel best suited for you. If a student doesn't want breakfast they can choose not to, but schools should really still accommodate for the students who do.

Breakfast cereal on the other hand, are almost all complete garbage. Refined grains with little to no nutritional value, you might as well eat a bowl of white bread with sugar with milk dumped on top. An addiction to sugar is the objective of every cereal company today, don't throw your life away because of a bad lazy habit and make a breakfast that you actually enjoy instead of dry soulless cereals.

I started that intermittent fasting.. and I went from 280 to 246. So yeah... skipping breakfast and having a (one) meal does work. I also cut out all sodas even diet. I drink water and unsweet tea. I started this in nov, now its towards the end of Feb 2020. So you can do it too if you want to loose weight. Dont listen to those who say its dangerous, especially if they are bigger than you.

I was thinking exactly the same thing, after a long sleep the body needs fuel, skipping meals isn't good for blood sugars or metabolism, try running a car on empty for too long, exactly the same outcome.
Also completely overlooked is the adage "breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.... "

    1) Most people would be better off if they did not eat first thing in the morning; this is the body's time to clean house and it is not ready to digest food. Greater health could result if people would adopt a sensible "No-Breakfast" plan, and ate more nutritious foods later in the day.
    2) Fruits are far superior to cereals as a nutritious breakfast food, and they are the ultimate convenience food-no milk, no bowls, no preparation or clean-up whatsoever.
    3) Added nutrients to food ("fortified" foods) are riot utilized by the body like the naturally occurring organic elements. They in no way replace or serve the same functions as do vitamins, minerals, and co-existing nutrients in natural foods.

Quality of breakfast matters. If you compared someone who doesn’t eat breakfast over a 6 month period against someone who eats a well rounded breakfast to include ample fiber, vitamins, minerals, and protein, it’s likely the latter will have increased positive biological outcomes. Most evidenced based research also shows that fasting leads to regain statistics that are not promising long term. So yeah, if you’re eating half your body weight in fruity pebbles every morning, they have a point. In a general sense however, this video is for clicks and doesn’t represent the value in consuming a balanced breakfast.

    • @ullahla42

    Cereals, Grain, Flour
The basic grains used worldwide are wheat, rice, oats, rye, barley, millet, corn. Grains have been the mainstay of whole populations-particularly rice and wheat. The reason for this universal reliance on grains is the ease of cultivation, the short growing and maturing time and the facility of bulk transportation and storage for long periods of time. Grains used today are generally refined products and constituted almost exclusively of starch.
Cereals and grains, in their whole grain dry state, may contribute beneficially to the diet of man. But it must be pointed out that even in their most complete state they are not a necessary food and are quite inferior to true foods for man-vegetables, fruits and nuts.
Refined flour (made from any of the grains) is a devitalized substance not suited for human consumption. In fact, it contributes to the general degeneration of those who consume it. It has become one of the principal items in the diets of modern men in the form of bread, rolls, cakes, cookies, spaghetti, etc. There is no way that such devitalized flour can be 'revitalized,' 'enriched' or in any way improved by the addition of elements needed in nutrition (vitamins, minerals, etc.). It remains a nonfood, pure starch, of the worst order. Breads and pastries as the "staple" of the diets of modern life are the source of much of the physical distress of man.
Cereals in the form to be soaked and cooked and the roasted flaked cereals in common use today are produced from denatured grains and are a true curse to mankind. These devitalized substances, further adulterated with sugar, salt, preservatives, chemicals, coloring and artificial flavoring, are contributing to the rapid proliferation of disease among modern man.
Cereals and cereal products (starches) are among the most difficult substances to digest when eaten alone. When eaten in combination with protein, the results are disastrous, resulting in extreme fermentation, gas, acids and intoxication.
Cereal starches require about 10 times longer to digest than do potato starches-the longer the digestion period, the more the fermentation.
Cereals, grains and all concentrated starch foods are unwholesome for human consumption and should be carefully omitted from any health-promoting diet.
