Loved making this little pumpkin 🎃 Going to make some more. Excellent tutorial, I especially like that you have specific places that you can pause, I struggle with keeping up with video tutorials sometimes so this is a great feature x
Love this like all of your crochet videos. I couldn't crochet at all until I came across your tutorials . Yours are so much easier to follow . Thank you :)
It can be passed the time of pumpkins , but I have so many braids for friends and acquaintances. despite too many . and all have been successful. and even knit. They are so beautiful .💕💕
Oh I love these, so cute and they look easy to make. I will be trying these this fall. Thank you for all the wonderful tutorials, you're a very good teacher. :)
So cute! I have been making some small pumpkins as little gifts. When I decrease I only go through the front loop only to help with the gapping. Love your crochet hook.
After making the leaves, I chained 8 and did 2 single crochets into each chain to make a little curlicue. It's the cutest damn tiny pumpkin ever!!! Thank you so much for this tutorial, my first attempt was a different pattern and I failed miserably haha
Thank you for the tutorial. I was looking for a smaller pumpkin pattern and this fit the bill. I didn't sew in my leaf ends but instead used them to create a stalk. I won't have time to make the number I need for this years decorations but I shall plod on making them and utilise them next year. A "handbag" project I can work on during my lunch breaks. Thank you.
hi Bella..I really appreciate ur efforts to explain everything so clearly to us..have learnt a lot from ur tutorials. Thanks again, and I have a request...if possible.. Plz do upload sm tutorials for sm other fruits n vegetables.. They look really awesome.. :)
This was fabulous thank you - so clear and easy to follow! I'm making an Autumn wreath and will be making a few pumpkins in different colours to add to it :)
Your pumpkins look amazing!! If only this tutorial had come out before I made my Pumpkin Head doll; it would have made it a lot easier, haha! XD Love your channel!
Gave this a go and ended up with what looked like a boob instead of a pumpkin haha may have been my choice of colours though! Will try again with different colours 😂
This is a great tutorial however, I would suggest using a slightly smaller hook with a DK yarn like this as you can slightly see the stuffing on the outside
Pumpkin is adorable...going to try to make some for my table for thanksgiving. Could you do a baby booty tutorial? My daughter is having a girl in February an would love to do a pair for her!
Yayyyyyy just made my 2nd crochet project (the first being a Granny Square Blanket) so now I have a little pumpkin :) could you teach us a ghost or a spider :) xxx Loved making this. Thank you xx
If you don't want the bigger holes when you decrease do the stitch on only the front loops of the two old stitches to make it invisible... also, if you find the stuffing falling out through the initial hole, try a magic circle next time
your tutorials are really amazing and i'm really enjoying watching them , but i recommend for you to put on the information box what kind of yarn are you using for this tutorial . Thank you
This looks amazing. Iv tried this one but it hasn't turned out as nice of yours. In one of you video would you be able to teach us how to read patterns please.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial, was able to successfully craft 2 cute pumpkins. Do you plan on uploading more of your patterns to Ravelry? I saw your basic granny square pattern on there ( which I'm working on a granny sqare blanket now) and I hope you put more of your patterns in the Ravelry database. I upload all of my projects to Ravelry and I credit you in my notes with links to your tutorials but it would be great for anyone looking at my project pages to easily be linked to your wonderful patterns and tutorials. I'm mainly a knitter, mostly accessories such as socks, shawls, hats and mitts but now thanks to your great tutorials, I consider myself a crocheter too!
+alex caskey Hi Alex. To be honest, its a platform I always forget about. What make you think it would be of benefit to upload onto there? (out of curiosity) I may look into doing it x
If you are looking to increase subscribers and traffic to your blog, Ravelry has over a million users. People love free patterns and tutorials, especially holiday ones like your adorable pumpkins and snowflakes.
I'm glad you like them 😊 To make bigger pumpkins you can use thicker yarn and/or a bigger hook. You could even try using two strands of yarn held together double for a really chunky pumpkin 😊
I love this! I am going to try this ASAP. Do you plan on making any more October/fall related things here soon? Would love to see some Halloween stuff >w< Keep up the awesome videos
Hi Sarah! If I wanted to adjust this pattern to make it bigger (thinking of making these a center piece for the table in my living room with different sizes). Would I just make sure to start with multiples of 10? Like if I wanted a size bigger than this one, start with a Magic Circle and do 20 single crochets and continue the pattern you gave us? I love this tutorial so much. Thank you!
+thinkcreatesarah Hi, I think i would be more inclined to do the pattern up to the round of 40 stitches and then a row of two dc in each stitch (80 stitches) and then 4-5 rows of 80 before decreasing? I've not tried it though so couldn't be certain! let me know how it goes x
Hi Sarah, can I ask what is the difference between sl st in the first round then chain 1(somebody chain 2) to the next round and what you did in the video please? Thank you~~:)
These are adorable :D I have a little crochet group on face book and we love your video's . Would you be able to do a tutorial for a Star blanket please :D the group is called I WILL learn to crochet . Julie
These are so cute, I might make one in the stylecraft special dk chunky for my mantle :-) ! Also, out of interest, where is the best place to get one of them hooks in the UK?
Love your tutorials. I can't wait to make some pumpkins for my decor in my living room. I do have a quick question for you, what kind of camera do you use to make your videos?
I have successfully made 3 little pumpkins from your tutorial - thank you! I shall add it to my Halloween decor as it is my 1st wedding anniversary. Do you have any other Halloween projects/tutorials? Like a ghost, witch, etc? :)
I did manage to make a pumpkin fairly quickly (because I'm not a beginner or anything xD) and I'm going to make like 10 today and send them to my family! They're so cute!
+Amber Drake some people have adapted the pattern. I haven't sat down and worked it out so I could advise unfortunately. I would image adding additional rows would help though (like adding an extra row of two double in each stitch to make 80 stitches rather then 40) x
Hi Ansonia, the easiest way to make this bigger would be to use a thicker yarn and larger hook size. You could even use two strands of the yarn you have now held together 🙂
Can you possibly teach how to make a curly vine or something for the pumpkin? Also could you make tutorials on how to read written or drawn crochet patterns? And also a tutorial on this adorable octopus that has a free pattern on pinterest but I can't read patterns TTATT www.pinterest.com/pin/159314905545025625/ And as always, thank you for your lovely, clear and easy to understand tutorials! This is adorable!! Could you make a teddy bear tutorial? :-)

These are so cute, I might make one in the stylecraft special dk chunky for my mantle :-) ! Also, out of interest, where is the best place to get one of them hooks in the UK?
+Sammi N Hi Sammi, The hooks aren't available in the UK as it is a US company. I bet it will look great in chunky yarn x
Yes, lots cheaper using pillows for stuffing
Love your tutorials. I can't wait to make some pumpkins for my decor in my living room. I do have a quick question for you, what kind of camera do you use to make your videos?
+Stephanie La Marre Thanks so much. I leave FAQ's in the description which should answer your question x
THANK YOU
😊
hello
thank you
Hi I’ve just started following you can you tell me which colours you have used for these pumpkins 🎃 please x
I used Stylecraft Special DK in Jaffa and Meadow :)
This is super cute but isn’t the base of the pumpkin inside out? You can see the bars
Thank you, I'm not sure I understand what you mean about seeing the bars? If you could clarify I will get back to you :)
Can you do a magic ring at the start instead of DC into the first chain? I just find magic rings easier :')
Absolutely, you can use a magic ring if you prefer 😊
Can a 5.'m hook work just fine for these pumpkins? I'm very new to crocheting
+Linda McDonald I'm all about breaking the rules :) as long as you have a DK yarn or thicker so they gaps aren't too big x
👍
PLEASE tell me where I can get that adorable wooden hook! I would love to buy a set.
+Violet Baudelaire It's from Furls fibre arts xx
Single crochet, or double crochet, which one is this? I though double is wrap around the hook, draw thru 2, then 2 again..
+Carol Bowers There are different terms which are used in the UK and the US. I am using the British terms as I state in the video x
I have successfully made 3 little pumpkins from your tutorial - thank you! I shall add it to my Halloween decor as it is my 1st wedding anniversary.
Do you have any other Halloween projects/tutorials? Like a ghost, witch, etc? :)
+Amy Warr Yay well done! Not at the moment I'm afraid x
Is she going in last chain or chain closest to hook?
What is the purpose of that particular type of hook?
Btw ur pumpkins soo cute!
mainly for comfort, with it being bigger it tends to be easier on your hands. those hooks run around 100 us
+Serina Ali Katherine is correct, It's designed to help reduce strain in your hand. They are very good x
+Bella Coco Thank you, will keep an eye out for them.
São Lindos estas frutinhas
i found this a little late so i made a red and green one for Christmas lol
how to crochet a larger pumpkin I like to know to do that not little ones
You've probably figured this out... But use chunkier yarn, and a bigger sized hook, that's what I do.
Hearing you say double crochet whilst we in the U.S. call it single crochet is kind of offsetting xD Love the tutorial btw!
+Mega f00t I know, I really don't know why there are different terms! its crazy lol
I did manage to make a pumpkin fairly quickly (because I'm not a beginner or anything xD) and I'm going to make like 10 today and send them to my family! They're so cute!
Is there any way to make a bigger version?
+Amber Drake some people have adapted the pattern. I haven't sat down and worked it out so I could advise unfortunately. I would image adding additional rows would help though (like adding an extra row of two double in each stitch to make 80 stitches rather then 40) x
Hi Bella can you tell me who can I make this pumpkin bigger.
Hi Ansonia, the easiest way to make this bigger would be to use a thicker yarn and larger hook size. You could even use two strands of the yarn you have now held together 🙂
Bella Coco thank you so much Bella wish you all the best.
You're welcome, and you too! 🙂
Could you make a bigger one🍅
can u start making crochet animals?
+Sarah Mohammed I shall add it to the request list x
