Ah, if wishes were horses! Tut mir leid, aber nicht werke, keine Deutsche 😢 It's a difficult language - you definitely have to stay on your toes but maybe reward yourself with something fun like listening to a Western muso sing German lyrics or watch a German TV series with ENG subtitles? If you want fluency badly enough it's worth sticking it out to the end.
