Satoshi's face after trying Kobe for the first time was EVERYTHING!!! I have never had it. So it was so satisfying to see him enjoy it!
I personally love sweet, laid back Satoshi. I don't understand sometimes when Shinichi, who I also like, is a bit abrupt and dismissive of Satoshi. But at least in this video, Shinichi was caring towards Satoshi and it was heart warming.
I can't believe someone as knowledgeable about food as Satoshi had never had Kobe beef before. Happy to see he enjoyed it.
I love seeing you two enjoying and explaining things, and when you really like it the feeling shines through. I keep thinking I have two Japanese uncles who are teaching me wonderful things about travel, and food, and how to be. Thank you, both!

Your expressions said it all. 😍 I am lucky enough to have had Kobe beef in Kobe once. We were driving from Nagasaki to Tokyo and decided on a one night stop in Kobe just to get some Kobe beef. I know, don't try and drive between Nagasaki and Tokyo with only just one stop. 😂We arrived late and almost missed out. 😂 But we found a place serving A5 Kobe and it was superb. Definitely worth going out of your way for, however there are a number of places in Tokyo that serve A5 Kobe too if you can't make it to Kobe. I'll definitely be adding Sai Dining to our list of places to visit next time though.

I agree, Kobe beef is amazing! I tried it once as shabu-shabu in a restaurant in Yokohama, it was a wonderful experience :)

Some days should trying buying A5 steak from the market and cooking at home…will be 2-3 times cheaper
Please try this restaurant for wagyu: Ukai-tei in Ginza You will be AMAZED with this place as well! Try the abalone!

I had kobe beef once in Kobe, but I was a little bit disappointed. I think it wasn't one of the better restaurants and they probably overcharged for lesser quality. Oh well, still a good meal.

Why would a vegetarian eat it? Also medium well and let it rest I guess? Since it can be a texture thing not just the pinkness from hemoglobin.
