I got my one year schengen visa last year November by asking the the French visa chancellor during my visa interview to issue me a visa that can cover my trip from February 2022 to June 2022 since I would be travelling in February and June for my summer holidays... she was like why didn't you put it in writing, I smiled 😃 and told her that I new I was coming to meet her. Fortunately for me they issued my tourist visa from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022. I applied for only two weeks tourist visa to travel in February 2022... so I agree with you! You lose nothing when you ask!
Hey sister thank so much for your interesting information but please I have something to ask ..this multiple visa .you are saying 🤔..can you enter all the countries you have been measioned in your application same time let me say for example...I have applied to go first in Portugal for 2 weeks then 1 week in Germany and then last week in Portland so is possible to visit same time

Thanks for the great information. Last 2 times I applied for schengenvisa they gave me for the exact duration I had entered in the application. If I am working in a company the leave approval letter will contain the dates. So you are saying - the duration of stay and intended entry/ exit dates may be different from the leave letter dates and flight ticket dates?? Please clarify. I thought my application will be rejected if the requested dates dont match with my leave dates.
Is it true that before you apply for a multiple entry tourist visa you must have been issued and used 2 previous Schengen visas? Please someone answer me

Not really, I was given multi entry for the first time and I didn’t even ask for it.
