  • Why are only 2% of music producers women? How do we break down gender stereotypes when it comes to women in music? How do we give a platform to minorities in the audio industry? And how do we inspire more girls and women to go into technical industries?
Today we’re talking to the incredible Liina and she passionately answers these questions and more. Liina is a music producer, mixing engineer, musician, songwriter and educator. Basically she’s brilliant!!! She has a successful RUclips channel, LNA Does Audio Stuff and is the co founder of Equalize Music Production.

Great video! Really resonates as a woman who started classically trained and ended up in production as well

Lina, you are certainly not a ‘nerd’. What you have achieved at the young age of 29 is amazing. Loved the interview.

Just catching this the algorithm is weird. It’s like it doesn’t properly place new content with the words female music producer into the right place. When I do searches I find stuff that’s 12 to 8 years old. Like there are no women making music.

Wow. That's so frustrating. We don't feel we will ever figure out the algorithm.

They're not a part of the 2% bcoz mainstream fights against them I mean ffk's there's
    Mary Spender
    Rachel K Collier
    KK
    Cidney
    LYRE (Alina & Ellie)
    Wizard
    Tiffah
    Tara Sounds
    Valentina
    Bad Snacks
    Sarah2ill
    Agent Envy
    Hallie Bailey
    The Crimson Apple Sisters
    Neon Vines
    Sylvia Massey
    KARRA
Those are just some of the popular one's I've found out about & fell in love with mainstream music industry no matter which specific area is forcefully controlled by men & that's sad
