Part of being a great singer and performer is knowing what songs compliment your style. Austin has an added advantage of having a phenomenal voice and vocal range. Add in his musicality and he crushes it.
That man's singing voice is mesmerizing. That's all I can say right now. To busy listening and falling under his spell again.

Good reaction. To me it will always be Etta’s song but Austin did a great job. Just a really pretty song.
Tim Foust from Home Free has also posted some videos for his solo Doo Wop album where he laid ALL the tracks - bass, tenor, background vocals, sound effects - everything. They are really good and show his incredible range! Try Come Go With Me, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay, and In My Room on his RUclips channel.
This is one of my favorite covers from him. A couple others are Bring Him Home and Danny Boy.
AUSTIN is samazing
I love all of Austin's but we all have favorites. This is one of my favorites of his, wow! And then he did Lets Stay Together and oh wow, his goes up so high all through it. There are just so many he does. The original he does is beautiful (sad, makes you think), he looks super handsome, If I Knew You Now. Many, many of Home Free's ahead for you and Austin too. I hope you can get to one of their hows. Super fun, funny, awesome music, they interact so well with each other and the audience too. You leave so, so happy!!! Take care kiddo.
He nailed it yes he did....he is classically trained & his professors in college urged him to actually try for an operatic career, but his daddy had been a Gspel Quartet member but Austin, he wanted to be a pop singer...but he eventaully ended up as a member of Home Free, who dropped a new song on Thursday
Austin Brown dropped Neon Moon (Brooks and Dunn cover) and also Home Free did a cover of Only in America (also Brooks and Dunn)
Austin Brown is incredible no matter what he sings. That said, it just doesn't seem right unless Etta James is the one singing that song.
I do agree with you on that. Austin did kill it, but, in the words of my generation, the original hits different.
