I just move all the stuff out of the way. Lol the far corner. Then, i move it back. This trick is better with the spider minds so i dont lose the depose.
I know everyone hate this version of Emperor's Fall because the AI throw a lot of nukes at the Player. But I for one, like this version of Emperor's Fall so much because this mission teach me to always be on guard on an enemy nuke.
Funny that back in my day everyone was "I'll never get hit by nukes cause I'm always finding the dot right away!". But I find it that, its the AI tendency to be predictable with nukes in that when a ghost is sent to launch a nuke it always targets the first unit/structure it sees.
You must have lots of patience to go at the nukes in this level, as I kept dying for the first few times being unable to stop their nukes enough to mount an offensive, where I ultimately backtracked & dealt with battlecruisers instead. I found ghosts extremely annoying since Hammer Falls, but having to ensure against THIS many nukes is ridiculous! Would a science vessel have made this level a little faster or those ghosts always fixate on any mobile detector threat & canceled them out first before nuking?
@@cruelangel1516 40 critical seconds pass while that research completed to allow for your 1st 3 spider mines, but that nuke barrage of about 4-6 nukes happens no matter what, even if you can get a 2nd vulture to lay more mines down, right? Lastly, you just dislike Science Vessels? Figure you'd have one since it'll save you some Comsat energy if you have it follow your lead battlecruiser & spot those pesky ghosts sooner.
@@rlouie05 I've seen a video that the player pretty much save all the units, put them all in the Dropship, and then fly straight to the top right corner and win the mission in just a few minutes. For Science Vessels, I just want to save gas to make more BCs.
@@cruelangel1516 You mean this one? Daring and genius! So you CAN get a 2nd vulture to cut down most of the nukes! ruclips.net/video/ACCYvuQb17A/видео.html As for Science Vessels, yeah making those BCs eats lots of gas, though I figured you'd make one towards the end vs. depending on your Comsats so much.
Is there another trick to deal with the nukes at the start? I am experimenting with getting turrets set up as quickly as possible. But, I do not think I can gather resources fast enough to get an engineering bay and enough turrets ready in time.
@@cruelangel1516 I have tried it now ten different ways. It doesn't seem like they give you enough resources or SCVs to get that done in time. Strange side note, did you know that there are burrowed Zerglings in your base right before the nukes drop on your reinforcements?
@@cruelangel1516 Yeah, it was kinda weird. I managed to get one turret up, and immediately I see dozens of burrowed Zerg. They are there before the nukes drop, but disappear before the explosions. I do not know if they are still present in the remastered version. But there is definitely a zerg army under my base in that mission.
Everybody gangsta` till the Raynor starts warpin`.
Jeez that was a lot of nukes.
Ah the spider mine trick.

I remember choosing to deal with them silos instead. So glad I made that decision.

ohgod this mission was a headache back the when you chose physics lab instead of silo.

I choose nuke because I can save some of my guys at the start using Spider Mine.

Yes, that's impressive.
I always like scan better because they cannot kill your detector and detect instantly.

Let me know if that works.

Interesting
haha he didn't use spider mine and blocking skill
Personally, I’d rather deal with Mengks’ battle cruisers than his nukes.
