I got to see almost all the 2nd motos. And watched Ryno on the 86 just dragging like 5 inches of the bottom of the forks through crazy deep ruts. Cool to see him and Jeffro out there on 2smokes
That was fun!!!!!!!!!! Love how you are having fun again and hope you do another fun project like this next year. Give us normal Joes something to enjoy and watch. THANK YOU, Flyin' Ryan!!!
Frick'n awesome. Great job Ryan. Maybe a bit of nostalgia, but no bike has ever felt so good from a ergo point of view as my '85 CR125. Loved that bike.
KJ should have rode his KX5 too, woulda been wicked cool. Ryno you’re an inspiration to us older guys who still love the sport and want to continue riding and racing as long as possible, and to the new guys too, keep charging!
My dad had an 86 cr 250. He gor ir when i was 8. Scariest thing ive ever been on . he use to race his buddys ktm 500 2 stroke with me on the back. He blew up the bike. But i had so much love for it he never got rid of it. Im 24 now and he recently rebuilt it. I terrorized him. Never get rid of it. . we still have it today.
It was a pleasure to witness this awesomeness trackside. I live just outside of Nashville and haven't missed Loretta's in 29 years. Blessed *Thank you squaw and Moony for all the years of joy and competition. RIP big guy
I would rather watch this than pro racing today. I enjoy the racers efforts and the aftermarket efforts. Other than that, there is not much I like about the sport that formed my life since 1974, because we don't own the sport anymore.
@@EarthSurferUSAyes, agreed! It may be generational, but so much changed so quickly back then with all those MX bikes; it was just almost special to wait for the new magazine to show up…or go buy a different MX magazine from the old newsstands! Read EVERY word, even the ads! Then turn wrenches on your own bikes in the carport, trying out “tech tips” etc💪 Seems like times were so much better (in a way) than now? Very “authentic” days. I still ride the old 2-strokes, and still enjoy riding just as much as always (just more careful); can’t seem to get into the new stuff?!🤷🏻♂️I may be resistant to change…lol
I could feel my hand after I rode an 86 CR 500... that's because I broke it when I looped out over a double. Don't try and ride a 500 like a 125 and keep it on the pipe. I learned that the hard way.
Such an epic race with Ryno aboard 2 stroke 86 CR 250, Emig on his 2 stroke TC 150 only if Brown would've been on a 2 Stoke to top off the cool factor but still rocking it on the holeshots.
That was better than the National I watched before it. I only watched it to see the old CR and expected everyone to be on old bikes. Real interesting, Good ride for sure.
"He got that scar from fencing" pretty sure he got that from going off the track and hitting a fence and Knocking him self out at a practice track. That's in a RacerX magazine and in an interview somewhere. I'm 100% sure that, that's 69% accurate.
AMAZING, SIMPLY AMAZING. Love seeing you and the boys brrrrrrrrrrrrrp. Brownie and Emig all of you...I got a 96 RM 125, you wanna rebuild it and do what you do...;) Classic Stuff, from a Classy Man! Thanks for Sharing. :)
That was a cool race, and on a stock cylinder, just an fyi a big bore trx cylinder is a bolt on, believe you can go 330cc on the stock bottom end without case boring, that and a pipe would be nasty
Good ride by Ryno on an unknown bike he was a last minute pencil him in outstanding....good charge....he finally figure out where the bike had its power 2 laps to go...
That 1986 Honda was a real good bike in coparision i got my 86 off a local unadilla vet pro champ so mine had fresh ness fork an shock were dialed an it had RJ pipe on P circuit bonus it was ready
For the "still" picture on the main page of YT with this vid on the page, we can't see Ryan's head on that 1986 CR250, but his posture looks like he is wearing a neck brace. :)
Fucking amazing ryno the only thing this race mighta needed is some steve lamson on the 1-800 collect cr 125 1996 but this was a real treat ryno sick shit!!!
Ryno can talk about the 86 all he wants he keep an giving Barry fits...he riding well considering he just jumped on that not ready to race bike..it wasnt prepped...for him...lorettas is a work out an the motos are longer...barrys on a new bike go ryno go ryno
How is this 1986? Monster Energy was introduced in 2006? Plus those bikes are definitely not 80’s models… maybe 2006 Loretta’s…. Edit… lol okay so he is on an 86 bike lol 🤦♂️

I wish wish wish Carmichael will race the vet class once he turns 45. Ill say it now... RC would dominate the 45+ vet class. I believe RC would dominate the +25 and +30 classes right now
Instead of being able to pick the best spot which is closest to the corner of course they should just tilt the start line and make it the same distance to the corner I mean come on do a change 2021 the one thing I think is they also have too many riders on the track

Love this! Those CR's are amazing. Building an '86 CR125 at the moment and this gives me inspiration. What a fun race! Ryan, you are the man!
The 2 strokes stole the show. Emigs 150 sounded so good.
Wow, Emig on the 150, and Hughes on the 250, 2 Strokes 4 Ever!!!!!!!!
“Rear drum brake brotha” 🔥
Kickass come back! Amazing last lap, they don't call ya the Rino for no reason.
I got to see almost all the 2nd motos. And watched Ryno on the 86 just dragging like 5 inches of the bottom of the forks through crazy deep ruts. Cool to see him and Jeffro out there on 2smokes

Great ride by Hughs 👍🏻
I can't believe that last lap charge! Epic!!

It's also nice to have American English speaking announcers. Rhino is a badass on an 35 year old 250 2 smoker!
Had an 87 CR125. Those old 2 strokes are amazing.
It was a pleasure to witness this awesomeness trackside. I live just outside of Nashville and haven't missed Loretta's in 29 years.

Badass and highly entertaining; for those of us who actually raced on mid-80s Hondas back in the day, this was super cool to see.
I would rather watch this than pro racing today.

Never rode the 86 CR250 but did ride the 86 CR500 ..that was a scary fast machine!..didn't feel my hands for a day or so after...haha.

Love it man!! Been a fan a long time and have a few pics with you throughout your career as well. Got a few from some GNCC's as well.
Such an epic race with Ryno aboard 2 stroke 86 CR 250, Emig on his 2 stroke TC 150 only if Brown would've been on a 2 Stoke to top off the cool factor but still rocking it on the holeshots.
So cool watching these legends race again 🙌
I had an 87 CR 250. It was a great bike.
My first dirt bike was a 1988 cr250r. Thing was insane! I had guys on newer 250 and 450 4 strokes amazed how fast it was!
Classic old steel frame 86 was out there working its old ass off, feel bad for those guys when that bike gets more dialed in.
That was better than the National I watched before it. I only watched it to see the old CR and expected everyone to be on old bikes. Real interesting, Good ride for sure.

I'm 69% sure that "fencing", as it pertains to dirt bikes, is when you hit a fence.
JK, but it could be a thing.

Had an '87 for a number of years. That was a fun bike, with a seat like a couch.
Chad G in the house in this one! Lots of legends, locally & nationally.
Thanks. This is making me want to get back out there. Great ride Ryan!
Hats off to the older guys kicking ass!!!
Spent a week at Loretta's back in the 90's......it was a blast.....Bubba Stewart was on a y-zinger......good times.
That line you hammered out of after the Carsten pass.. SEE YAAA!
So what's in store for next year Ryno, that 86 was awesome to watch!
Thats awesome, reminds me of a guy racing a redbull hard enduro recently got like 5th overall on a kdx200.
Wow Hughes on a 1986 CR Honda? Glad to see Hughes racing!
The Rhino was charging hard on that last lap!
That was a cool race, and on a stock cylinder, just an fyi a big bore trx cylinder is a bolt on, believe you can go 330cc on the stock bottom end without case boring, that and a pipe would be nasty
drone cam is 10 times better than NBCs coverage LOL
go ryno
Райн , ты герой этой гонки !!!
Good ride by Ryno on an unknown bike he was a last minute pencil him in outstanding....good charge....he finally figure out where the bike had its power 2 laps to go...
Awesome! My 1st bike was a 86 CR 80...
You have super man, batman, as hero's, the super hero in my life is Ryan 🤘👍
Ryno loves life!
Hughes was GOIN' FOR IT
Awesome race!! Makes me miss my 1989 KX 250..did you say you lost your dad in 86?...My Pops died in Nov of that year when I was 13..
The 86 was a fast bike ,and can still win races
That 1986 Honda was a real good bike in coparision i got my 86 off a local unadilla vet pro champ so mine had fresh ness fork an shock were dialed an it had RJ pipe on P circuit bonus it was ready
Im.still a hardcore emig fan since the 90s
For the "still" picture on the main page of YT with this vid on the page, we can't see Ryan's head on that 1986 CR250, but his posture looks like he is wearing a neck brace. :)
Good ride by ryno i called it he started to figure out where that bike shines...
So cool!
Awesome!
Fucking amazing ryno the only thing this race mighta needed is some steve lamson on the 1-800 collect cr 125 1996 but this was a real treat ryno sick shit!!!
That’s crazy how good ryno is. Lol
Ryno killed them with his fitness 💪🏻
Was Emig in Shift gear?
Have to love Honda's ❤💯
Just go up on main jet it did sound lean in video's?
I think 86 is front drum brake too guys i had one
Lol do cool raced a 83 cr 80 back in st Louis on the back side of the drag strip. The drags ran south at the time.

Big Bore Barry representing!
R.I.P Loretta's 😥
Back in 86 that cr was the real deal
Hell of a race on a dinosaur of a bike
Let me get this right, Ryan is on a bike with rear drum brakes?
@@vohdoun Yes. Disc in 87.
Hell of a race on a dinosaur of a bike
Although I would have really like to see him on a newer 2stroke
I bet Ryno had more corner line choices with that lower bike of normal days.
So cool....
So cool....
Give Jeff a stock 150 next year haha , the orangewhiteeurored humpers in the box pumping the white one promotions . Rino Power Emig power

Why Ryno?
Why Ryno?
If you don't want to get beat by a guy riding a 36 year old 2-stroke,----ride one.
hahahahahahahahaha ha!
Ryno can talk about the 86 all he wants he keep an giving Barry fits...he riding well considering he just jumped on that not ready to race bike..it wasnt prepped...for him...lorettas is a work out an the motos are longer...barrys on a new bike go ryno go ryno
I wonder how a KTM200 would do for a vet rider
Team Honda was getting 50hp out of a 4trax engine with a 86 cr cylinder,, with the power valve blocked wide open ,, nothing slow about an 86 cr250

I believe RC would dominate the +25 and +30 classes right now
Yeah he hasnt slowed down. Damn, Carmichael, Reed, McRath, Deegan I could go on but you get the picture!
How is Carsten going that fast with that dreadful technique haha
Instead of being able to pick the best spot which is closest to the corner of course they should just tilt the start line and make it the same distance to the corner I mean come on do a change 2021 the one thing I think is they also have too many riders on the track
Tommy Boyd!!!!!!

Barry Carsten fastest guy at Englishtown....nationall rider 45 plus guy i make a note
