I like this deck because there is so much variance in how to build it. My C'thun reno warlock for example has the same basic principle, but I think over a half of the deck is different than yours.
I'm not the best player, but I don't really understand why you would play jaraxxus before reno in any situation. I also don't understand why you would reno for 9 health.
Jaraxxus because if you know you can win the game, do it. There's no point sitting and doing nothing when you can kill your opponent by tapping "INFERNO" every turn and hitting face with the claws. Renoing for 9hp is stupid unless you know your opponent can kill you. Like with Leeroy, PO (10 damage) + Faceless (10 damage) and then anything else that does 1 extra or more such as a war axe that is already in play or a soulfire.

For the tempo. Sometimes the health doesn't matter. And if you play Jaraxxsas you're planing to end the game within a few turns (unless playing against warrior)

At Rank 20 I was assaulted by someone with a double reno, nzoth deck. And because I watch trump I actually new what the heck was going on but he beat me. I wondered why he was at rank 20 with that monstrosity.

Most likely tanking on purpose to farm easy wins for the golden portrait.
In fact, from my experience ranks 19-17 are easier than rank 21-20 by an order of magnitude.
Slow decks take time to win so they can't rank up that fast however rank 20 is pretty low to stay in with any deck tbh
I love playing my fatigue warrior against renolock! I just play Coldlight Oracle and make them burn up to 8 cards (with Brann out). That's usually a tilted instant concede when their Reno gets burned.
The only fatigue warrior I've seen was Kripp's and i thought it was pretty shit

Gah.. I really regret crafting Malganis instead of Jaraxus a few weeks before Standard was announced. (Played Zoo back then, but want to play reno now Q.Q)

Zoltán Bartha Well I'm not sure if midrange hunter counts as "aggro" any more. It's by no means a slow deck, but it's no pirate warrior or face/midface shaman either.
But yeah I might keep buying up classic packs hoping to get Jaraxus some day. Even though 99% of them I open seem to just be 40 dust. :/

Jaraxxus is godly. As shown in the video, he can single handedly win the game versus slower warrior decks, and he also put in astonishing work against the Yogg hunter. Honestly, you CAN run the deck without Jaraxxus, but it's like running Zoolock without Doomguard/Sea Giant/Leeroy, it'll make the deck a lot worse.
@ 27:00 could he have traded the cairne into sylvanas then power overwhelminging the 4/5 then trade the 1/1 to kill sylvanas?

I just started the season with it and ended on a 6 win streak.
I don't use the exact list though, I don't use N'Zoth to be honest. LOL.
There are just so many Warriors that any Handlock will get the job done.
Currently at rank 12 and have found Mages and Warriors around every corner.

Hey, i have ever card in this deck except for jaraxxus- do you guys think i can just sub it out for something and still play it, or is it too crucial to the deck that ill just have to save up for it
Jaraxxus is crucial to the playstyle of the deck, but not impossible to replace...
If you have all of the LoE cards you might be able to use Rafaam as a temp play, and it has a lot of uses in different situations with AoE damage, filling your board, and a huge buff card at your disposal...
You could also use an alexstraza for jaraxxus since alexstraza can save you in a pinch like jaraxxus but it doesn't have the same board control/pressure as jaraxxus
what could replace a demon wrath in this deck?
What can I replace Ragnaros and Jaraxxus with?
Hmm don't have Cairne put in a Dreadsteed, don't have a mountain giant put in Rafaam. I'll give it a go tomorrow. How bad could this turn out?

I don't really understand the "gold cost" of a deck because you can't buy specific cards with gold. Or is it gold cost for the solo andventures PLUS the dust cost for all other cards?
I think it's based on the amount of packs you can buy with the gold, which when disenchantment the cards received in the pack will translate to the amount of dust required?

legend 1 in staandard meta with renolock? ok, you did my day, i will craft that one twisting nether what i need, and i go for ladder :) this is my favourite deck :D
So, if i play against midrange hunters, shamans and other aggro decks in 80% of my games from rank 20 to rank 10 i should not play this deck. I am right, daddy? Then what should i play? Current rank: 11.
Pirate/dragon warrior or any other good midrange deck. Or if you are really grindy and like to resident sleeper play control warrior

T.R S You're welcome. But midrange/Dragon Warrior counters Shaman and has 50/50 vs. Zoo, this should be fine. Hunter is more like 45/55 but thats okay.

I play Renolock to legend every season since Reno is out. My only and one advice for Renolock players is: don't be too greedy. DON'T. If your oponent has a chance for lethal, you have to consider how much better you will be using reno NOW or later. Sometimes you'll definitely win with an early reno but want to get maximum value out of it and dies because of this.
But, but, you say not be greed, but WE'RE GONNA BE RICH!!!
it is a little suprising everyone leans towards shadowbolt over soulfire, but this renolock deck is more on the curve out and play cards often dumpy side.

+Wizened Orlanthi rank 5 is a real push to be honest, im finding rank 7/8 is about its limit right now so I've been playing a Reno warrior that beats most warriors and can outlast most aggro decks, its weakness is rogue and hunter ive found

I've found that renolock vs cthun warrior can realistically go into fatigue

That first game you should have just played doomsayer on turn 2 regardless of whether or not the Shaman made a play, just so you guarantee getting a first play on turn 3. Would have won you the game IMO

renolock is not favoured against combo warrior at all; worgen otk outdraws reno hard and can deal 30+ damage

I never get reno on reno decks. In addition those decks are veeery inconsistent, since you only have one of each card. You have absolutely no idea what you're gonna get and I usually get something totally useless in a given situation. I have no idea how such decks get to legend. Legend 1 being the most interesting. Maybe on higher ranks you actually can do something with such deck. On low ranks aggro will eat you alive before you draw reno... At least this is my experience.
From what I've seen, this deck is good against control and Midrange, but worse against aggro, so I can see why it's way better at higher ranks.

Well, Handlock used to be able to (sometimes) beat aggressive decks by playing and taunting molten giants and then healing.
Not anymore, RIP in peace moltens.
HikariKouno21 yeah 4 mana 2 taunted 9/9s were scary but at 10 health, stuff like hunter manages to burst the last bit with spells only. Reno has early mana cards to make up for the lack of moltens for aggro though.
