I like to give recognition to good background singers. They seem to always be left out. I have always been a listener to the background singers to see how well they have the soloist back. 😅😅

Gospel music has been around for wayyyy more than 100 years. Might be better to say contemporary gospel began in the Thomas Dorsey era of the 1920’s. And @7:00 How bout the black church is composed of the preacher, the music, and the Holy Spirit (not the frenzy)!
