Another great radio going out ! Happy new year !! I have made contacts to outher QT 80 PRO radios on the air now. Even a QT 40 in Florida. Sounding great to NY ! Anytones on the air is becoming a thing now. I worked all over south America with my QT 60 ! Even a island off Africa. 10/11/12 meters world wide at times. Russia FT8 ! even Japan ! most done with 50 watts or less . I do have a KL 506 amp and some others . I never run them full power. like 50% or less . I can work pile ups and not worry about heat . When the band is good 100 watts and a wire easy goes world wide ! I herd 10 meters going long path and short path at same time making a natural echo . That sounds neat. can make a hard copy. That happened to me to New Zealand once .Just like yelling in a valley with 2 mountains getting that dubble echo . radio waves can do the same thing and arrive at different times . Sometimes you get back scatter of aurora and makes a distortion and very hard copy. 6 meters did that over the summer when band opened at night . I hope to get Ukraine soon ! 73 from NY

Ive wasted soooo much money on radios until I found Scotts Radio on the interweb. Got 3 done up from him. Top Notch radios.
