Yeah. They'll hit more groundballs and linedrives on average. Anything below legend Ill go out of my way to get the 14ish point difference between contact and power because power hitters get so much more homeruns
Another fun captain combo is Corbin Carroll combined with the Negro Leagues boost, they overlap a lot and it actually makes John Donaldson a decent hitter since he gets both boosts
I been running a full Negro league team except for the Corbin Carroll and been having a lot of fun with it. Almost all of them except 2 get the double bonus.
nothing nuts about this team, severe lack of power and if you want a speed team you can go with the jackie/corbin team and have a near full team of 90+ speed with still insane power and fielding. also the santana boost was nerfed into the ground and is terrible, literally no benefit from using it especially with the caliber of power hitters we have atm. the new santana card we got is better even with a full t3 santana boost. one thing that 100% needs to be improved next year, and obv the main way is through dedicated servers, is the steal game. Right now the best offensive catchers outside of Pudge have weak arms and no catcher pop time. It is impossible to even remotely catch a 99 speed baserunner without a 95+ arm and catcher pop time, and even then it's a toss up (that's IF you hit the line perfectly. if you don't, it's a steal). This limits you to weak hitting catchers, and if you go against clowns who don't care about cheesing, they will run guys with 99 bunt/99 steal/99 speed and just run all over you to the extent it feels like when you cheese the extreme showdowns with the epic bunt powerup.

which is exactly why this lineup is trash. go with the jackie/corbin burnes lineup and u can get all this speed+ power to boot.
