HIPAA Privacy & Security Rules Training

The HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules state a covered entity must train all members of its workforce on the policies and procedures with respect to protected healthcare information. Training must be documented to show it was completed and must be provided within a reasonable time to:
• New employees after the person joins the covered entity’s workforce.
• Each employee of the covered entity’s workforce whose functions are affected by a material change in the policies or procedures of HIPAA.
