+ My first online Korean course on Class 101 is now ready to hear your voices!! If you guys would like to support my first A to Z Korean lessons (mostly about Korean ending patterns) check out this website, en.class101.net/collections/course-poll/products/minji have a look into the course, and hit the button called "Notify Me When It Starts"!!
The course will be very helpful especially if you have had hard time with Korean grammar, verb conjugations and so on. I have put lots of effort to make sure that you guys can learn the most useful 30 patterns with me. And all I need is to get 200 people's supportings. If that happens, I can finally open the class! So please check out the website. Thank you!!!

I self-learned Hangeul but I still get confused because of the rules I don't know when some characters are placed at the end of the syllable. Lol. Thanks for your lessons, Teacher Minji. Sending love from the Philippines.

also how do accents change when you add other words to it? fx. if you add 입니다 to a word does the accent on a word change?

Hello there I would like to ask Why is that with some words or names of the same Hangul letter but used different English letters e.g OO / U (Soon- Sun) or yoo / yu or kyung but the Hangul letter is yeo , sometimes this word (Young) why they do you put a yo wen you can see it’s a yeo Hangul letter! What are the rules to when to use u or oo and yu / yoo ?

Just a random question: 흥분하다 vs 짜릿하다 ,is it both mean “to be excited”, for example if I say “I am so excited to BTS’s comeback”, how to form a proper sentence to that?

    • @sunnyeah_speakkorean6089
      @sunnyeah_speakkorean6089 4 года назад

짜릿하다, 흥분하다, 신나다, 너무 좋다 etc... many Korean words have just little differences are all translated in English as "excited" ... haha
흥분하다 means excited, can't wait for, so happy or joyful also contains meanings like 흥분하다 because I got so upset or nervous ... so and so. basically 흥분하다 is getting hyper in good and bad way -_- every ways ... lol
짜릿하다 means 'thrilling, electrifying, exhilarating' it can be translated as 흥분하다 too, but it's .... ummmmm..... yeah ...
why is explaining Korean meaning is soooo hard to Korean -_-.... I have to study more to explain things well...... T-T

In the word "han gu goe " I saw a lot of people wrote "han" in two ways. I don't know why! That also happened in " ja " and " cha ". I know that u are already busy with the online course if u see this comment i hope u can explain me.

Good question! I was going to cover that subject in the upcoming videos, but you're right, Koreans write ㅎ in different ways. There are variations when it comes to handwritings. And mostly there are 2 ways of writing ㅎ.
The one looks like two vertical lines (=) are above ㅇ, and the other one looks like the vowel ㅗ shape is above the consonant ㅇ! :) Both ways are correct. They are all ㅎ

I think maybe you should learn some vocab. I mean thats how i learned korean and now im an intermediate nearly fluent. I think after you learn vocab you could start learning some grammar and then learn how to make sentences. Then just continue to build. Thats how i did it and how im still doing it lol. Hope this helped! 😁💜

I think you should learn the majority of the language from a book because it is already structured and use those videos as an alternative, when the book gets boring 😅 (so do I)

Hi, there! Thanks for you comment.
I know that’s one of the biggest problem many Korean learners in beginner levels encounter. I think the most simple way to solve that is to memorize many words as possible! Especially when you’re beginner, I think (kinda) forcing yourself to be exposed to a situation where you’re met a lot of new words is important. I know it sounds a bit tough but getting used to new words is really crucial :)
So in this series, I’m planning to show you many words as possible and I'll be also repeating them.
In other words, I’m sure you guys can memorize them naturally without having to struggle by yourself after my class.
So stay tuned for the upcoming Hangeul classes !
