no i agree they def are on level with buakaw but the best ever hands down was saenchi all the others are doing muy thai and are amazing examples of why this martial art dominates but saenchi good the art to a new level how he moved, striked and toyed with people that should on paper shaft him with a size, power and reach advantage just tells you this guy was something special. even when just sparring with a young buakaw that was already being seen as a star you could see the skill difference immediately

Saenchai is not a goat. Saenchai was not the best in the world. He fought outside of Thailand, but was unsuccessful. Thai fight is rigged, 90% of guys they line up against Saenchai are inexperienced. I lived and trained in Thailand for 8 years and Thai fight was always ready to take foreign fighters as cannon Fodder! Especially the weak a released to raise his rating.

I know it sounds cliche, but I really find it enjoyable to watch this guy. He is so aggressive and powerful, yet his fight Iq and skill is just as impressive. I'd say he is one of the best Muay Thai fighters out there, and certainly its best ambassador.
I honestly like watching Saenchai more, but Buakaw did show everyone how powerful Muay Thai is when he fought in K1, so he certainly was its best ambassador.

But I find Saenchai more entertaining to watch because of his twist on Muay Thai and how wild he fights. Buakaw is much more power based and intimidating in the ring though.

@Megat Panji I've seen lots of fights with him from the past, and I must admit, that his arsenal of Muay Thai-weaponry seemed endless, combined with timing, balance (so called fighting-IQ) and a so relaxed but surely focussed style of fighting, which makes him so unique. Totally agree with your point of View! Greetings!
His fights are so brutal compared to saenchai, who plays with his opponents a lot during his fights. Both are incredible athletes, but saenchai fights with finesse while Buakaw fights with such intensity and ferocity, most of his opponents are beaten mentally even before the match begins.
