Chondola is the name given to the hybrid chair lift/ gondola brought to New England in 2008- part ski lift seating, part enclosed gondola. It's just a combo of the two .

I'm originally from southern Indiana and we spent many a vacation down in Gatlinburg and I've never did this! Absolutely beautiful!!!
Very pretty . I loved all the lights at night time . You're right Adam , it does look like something from the movie , Robin hood. Glad there wasn't any bears up there near the tree houses or the swinging bridges you were walking on . Thanks for sharing this video.
East tennessee is amazing, I love how all the kitsch stuff and the natural beauty kind of meld together.
How did I know Jacob would be there...Gatlinburg is Carpetbagger catnip. Looking forward to a little snow tubing at Ober Gatlinburg and this place when we head up that way in January! You definitely picked THE BEST time of year to go! We love that party of the country.

The bear sightings were awesome. I had such a fun time watching you guys ride that Chondola to the top. The Firefly village is really nice! The view up there! @9:18 definitely EndorISH or Sherwood ForestISH. The descent was @14:27 haha!

We spent 8 nights in gatlinburg last week seen bears every day had a momma and 3 cubs at our condo just about every evening one night they snuck up on another family making smores the family ran off and they enjoued all the marshmallows and chocolate and wander off lol
That was so much fun. I love your Gatlinburg videos. It's been on the top of my list of places I want to visit for a while now, thanks to you.

I was down there 2 weeks ago and skipped a plan trip on Ober and was bummed. Now I want to do this instead. Saw the entrance at the beginning of the strip but didn't know anything about it. Thanks for the informative video.

Patricia Herman My cousin was in Cali for a day and a half before her car got broken into via a smash and grab. All her stuff was stolen. Kinda makes me leary of venturing out there!

Good to see you back in a place you love especially with Jacob. How fitting you saw bears since that's how you both started together there at an abandoned bear attraction. I hope you make him hold the head and dance again as well as film the neon signs and see if you get yelled at in Cherokee!

Why don't you move to Gatlinburg? It's obvious you love the place plus its closer to your family and you can get away from the dirty, seedy and dangerous LA. remember you eventually chose LA instead of Gatlinburg before, maybe its time for a change? I hope you do move, I for one would sleep easier. God Bless Adam.
Added bonus is that it's a *heck* of a lot cheaper to live here than just about anywhere in the United States.

I'm originally from Cali been in North Alabama for 18 years and my parents friend moved to Tennessee couple years ago from Cali and love it so much better!!
Adam came very close to moving there, had a realtor and everything. He changed his mind at the last minute. Adam travels a lot and Gatlinburg is kind of remote. More than a hop, skip, and a jump from the airport, and not much more around for quick day trips.

Always love your vids. I was down there two weeks ago and Anakeesta seems cool. Love, Love, Love when woo and carpetbagger pair up....Couple weeks ago there was a Loooonnngg line! I think Chondola is a mix of words Gondola and Chair.

I was just there 6 Months ago we did not go on that ski lift went up in the sky lift on the other side of town. Will be going back sometime in June of 2019 for 2 weeks instead of 1 week.
What great fun. Especially after those Forrest fires.

Come to Greenville sc. we have an amazing downtown and a cool suspension bridge that hovers over the only natural waterfall in a downtown city in America. And I can finally get to meet you. We also have a shoeless joe Jackson museum and it’s the childhood home of Jesse Jackson. So many more facts and landmarks. Paaaaleeeeze.

The red zone is for loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no parking in the blue zone.

that's how bears operate 🐻 the bear on the ground is a distraction so you don't spot the other bear up in the tree that's about to drop on you. whenever a bear gets stuck up a tree they use a passing human on a ski-lift to cushion their fall. it's not known if other bears behave in this way but a study indicates that should u build a ski-lift near bears they will jump on humans....
and eventually take over the ski-lift & use it to give rides to other bears 🐻
