My Glowshift A/R gauge has a "constant 12V+" wire in addition to the switched 12v. Did your gauge also have this? I was going to combine the two to the lighter circuit until I read that if you don't have constant 12V, the gauge will have to recalibrate every time it powers up.
I have the aem 30-0300. Has red, black, blue, white, brown, green/black, etc. I was told I only need to use the red, black, and blue, where could I ground the blue wire to?
Wait ! If you swap the OEM O2 sensor with AEM O2 sensor on the exhaust manifold, how will the ECU get the oxygen info ? Ideally, dont you want both sensors to be installed ? One for the wideband and one for the ECU ? Please clarify.
@soufianDEMOS you are correct.. you need both O2 sensors. You must get a new bung installed by your local exhaust shop prior to… you DO NOT want to ever run without the oem sensors installed
My tuner simply set up HPTuners to use the bank 1 sensor for ECU and the replaced wideband in Bank 2 for tuning. He disabled the error code for missing O2 in bank2 so no CEL. The only downside is you lose some diagnostic capability on the bank that you're repurposing for the gauge.
Man i appreciate you ! Did it today went perfect thanks to your video! Thank you sir 🫡
Glad I could help!!
Game changer , essentially for tuning...
@lavongreen6908 oh yes!! The best on the market I love em

Yes it will need to calibrate for the first few seconds if you wire it to cig lighter under the uconnect because that power source is switched

Also have a prolink cable with my hptuners
I’m not sure what the blue wire is for. I only used the red and black wires.. and just connected them both to the cig lighter harness
I believe blue is for dimming the unit. Like for night time. I could be wrong, but I didn’t use the blue either
Where on the exhaust did you put the new bung on? I'm going to install my sometime later this week. Great video.
@joellopez6913 thank you! I put it in the midpipe.. about 10 inches or so past the upstream O2 sensor
Sweet thanks
@joellopez6913 happy I could help

Do you get the afr info on hptuners? Or is that info only on gauge this way
This particular gauge… does interface into HPTuners
@ how? I have the same gauge
@ add “WB eq ratio” as a channel in VCM scanner
@ all I need is the red and black wire hooked up? Nothing else?
The kit comes with an OBD harness. If yours didn’t then you can’t
