@@ProjectSimRacing I remember when I got my first real world truck licence, views were literally non-existent! Luckily being my first truck licence it was a relatively small truck - only about 8 tonne - an old 6 cylinder Dodge (my test for the much bigger truck a year later was on a Volvo - you had to drive for a year on the small truck licence before you could go for a test on the unlimited tonnage trucks). On the day of small truck test the rain was so severe I literally could not see more than about 15 metres ahead or even behind. I thought they would have surely cancelled the test due to the torrential rain but they didn't. Part of the test involved a reverse park and this was decades before the era of rear cameras. The rear view mirrors that I could see from the driver's position only extended the view to the actual rear of the truck - beyond that all they showed was an opaque blanket of rain and mist. The instructor at one point asked me if I might stop reversing in case I hit the car parked on the other side of the street. He had a small clear spot to see back on his side of the cabin but all my views were obscured. Given the situation, I obviously stopped and was able to finish the turn driving forward. He did not deduct any points and I passed. I think both of us just wanted to be out of the storm and he realised the situation for me was close to impossible! Everything else on the test went perfectly fine though.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Really appreciate it 🙌 This truck has a 12-speed Optidriver gearbox that's automatic irl. But what's the fun in driving an automatic gearbox 😄
Really nice video! How do you find the moza wheel? Is it better than your old fanatec classic wheel? I currently have that and i'm curious if it's worth to change. I kinda dislike the umbilical wire, but it's unavoidable with a non-moza base. Can you please share your FBB settings? A screenshot from the fanatec control panel would be awesome. Also if you have options changed in the game, please share those too 🙂 Thanks in advance!
Thanks bro! I really like it! Is it better? Nice 💪 could you tell me what number you put your wheel settings on in the game is it 1080?? Because I can’t seem to get it to turn around as much as yours???
I want a sim where had you waved to the other AI drivers in the trucks going the other way, they would have waved back!! That is what we do here in Australia all the time!! I'm really amazed at how well those ASUS bezel kits work (and for such a reasonable price). In my opinion it took something like that for triple screens to truly become viable. Older setups with the extremely distracting thick bezels never made the grade for me - the distraction took more away from the immersion than the shear expanse of the screens added in the first place! I am unfortunately on a massive budget and probably always will be. I even still run my 6 year old Clubsport 2.5 wheelbase. I will never have much to spend on simming but I did get purchase a brand new Samsung S36 27 inch curved monitor last week as an upgrade for the old 21 inch flat monitor (which is now used on my study desktop computer). I did not get the curved monitor simply because it was curved since it is obviously a very small one - I only got it to reduce the angle of the edges towards my eye versus looking in the centre as I felt it would be easier on my vision and reduce the distortion from the otherwise acute angles of the edges towards my eyes. And it sure works! I couldn't imagine either race or flight simming without a curved monitor now. Even this tiny taste is enough such that if I won the lottery I would get a 180 degree wrap around (I'd probably need a whole bank of RTX4090 cards to run it!!).
Thanks, Jonathan! I agree, the ASUS bezel kits make a huge difference for immersion with triple screens. Your setup sounds great, especially with the new curved monitor. It's amazing how even small upgrades can enhance the experience. Keep enjoying your simming, and who knows, maybe that lottery win is just around the corner! 😉🙌
heya, great video! I just bought the fanatec csl dd ready2race bundle, and i also play a lot of ets2. would you mind sharing your in game settings with us? like the truck physics, stability etc. thanks!
Thank you so much! Congrats on your new gear! I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings. But I turn the steering angle to 1800 degrees (in Fanalab).

I always try to respond to everyone (except for toxic messages) because I appreciate you guys taking the time to leave comments. It's funny that your message about appreciating my responses got blocked! 😂 Thanks for your support and patience!
your videos are alway at top...but, unlike many others youtuber, you are not on a single kind of simulator...you today drive a truck, tomorrow you will drift on japanese car. With the same skill...BTW, ETS2 is awesome....and is a game of 12 years ago...similar to assetto corsa, or rf2....same age...seems that the golden age of driving simulator was 10 years ago....maybe assetto corsa 2 will change this
Thank you so much! I enjoy trying different types of simulators, and I'm really happy you like the diversity as well. ETS2 is indeed awesome and has held up well over the years, just like Assetto Corsa and many others. It’s amazing how these older games have stood the test of time. Hopefully, Assetto Corsa 2 will bring even more excitement to the sim racing world!🤞

I experienced that issue once when I got my rig. I removed my shifter from my rig and did the calibration process while holding it. There seems to be some electrical interference between the shifter and the rig. This solution worked for me and many others. So give it a try😊
@@ProjectSimRacing Yeah I've heard about the electrical issue. But what did you do precisely ? you removed the shifter from the rig , recalibrate and ... ? your shifter is no longer on your rig ?
@toxxproduction I remounted it after calibrating. Removing it during calibration prevents any electrical interference from the rig. Once calibrated, you can put it back on the rig 😊

If you have a Fanatec wheelbase, all you need is this Fanatec adapter www.fanatec.com/eu-en/steering-wheels/podium-hub?FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2 and this Moza hub mozaracing.com/product/universal-hub?ref=VYCVzIGOMI0k4p

Thanks a lot! I love the sound of open pipes and have quite a few videos featuring them on my channel. I'll definitely check out Kapitan Kriechbaum's mods. Thanks for the tip! 👍
love this! am I confused here or are you using a "manual transmission" on this truck here?

How do you find the moza wheel? Is it better than your old fanatec classic wheel? I currently have that and i'm curious if it's worth to change. I kinda dislike the umbilical wire, but it's unavoidable with a non-moza base.
Can you please share your FBB settings? A screenshot from the fanatec control panel would be awesome. Also if you have options changed in the game, please share those too 🙂
Thanks in advance!
Thanks bro!
I really like it! Is it better? Idk, but it feels really nice for trucking! 😊 If you decide to get one, just make sure to buy the Fanatec adapter www.fanatec.com/eu-en/steering-wheels/podium-hub?FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2 and also the Moza Hub mozaracing.com/product/universal-hub?ref=VYCVzIGOMI0k4p
It won't work otherwise 😉

@@ProjectSimRacing Thx bro! So you just load the profile in fanalabs? Will it work if i don't have the game?
@DragosStefanache yes and yes😊😉
The sound of the Renault electric motor is similar to the sound of the KITT turbo engine from the 1982 TV series Knight Rider. 😀

Nice 💪 could you tell me what number you put your wheel settings on in the game is it 1080?? Because I can’t seem to get it to turn around as much as yours???
Thank you!
I have it on 1800 degrees 😊
I just bought the fanatec csl dd ready2race bundle, and i also play a lot of ets2.
would you mind sharing your in game settings with us? like the truck physics, stability etc.

your videos are alway at top...but, unlike many others youtuber, you are not on a single kind of simulator...you today drive a truck, tomorrow you will drift on japanese car.

Did you ever experienced the Miss shift issue with your fanatec shifter?
I experienced that issue once when I got my rig. I removed my shifter from my rig and did the calibration process while holding it. There seems to be some electrical interference between the shifter and the rig. This solution worked for me and many others. So give it a try😊
@@ProjectSimRacing Yeah I've heard about the electrical issue.
But what did you do precisely ? you removed the shifter from the rig , recalibrate and ... ?
