I’m actually glad he is bigger now he can absorb the hits a little better if the offensive line doesn’t hold up secondly he’s moving around really well in some of the videos that I’ve seen posted so I don’t have an issue with it as long as he’s healthy and we win that’s all that matters and besides that he needs to play at least a few snaps this year in every pre-season game except the last one he needs that time to get in rhythm with his offense which is why they start slow every year because he doesn’t play or he is hurt …..WHO-DEY.

I feel like Joe being bigger will give his arm more strength so hopefully there wont be as much strain on the wrist when he is throwing. It might just help his whole throwing motion and arm all together along with increased durability.

Joe Burrow knows his body but he has to listen to it. Its like he had the sleeve on prior to the game he injured the wrist. We still dont know if he had tweaked the wrist the prior week or during practice. Same with the calf wearing a sleeve because it felt tight.... not the right thing to do especially hot and humid hard practice. Its like asking a guy with tightness in his hammy to go all out in practice. No you rest it.
That having been said the things that will keep Burrow healthy is better O line play. Yeah they did decrease the numbers of sacks but he was hit an awful lot after releasing the ball. Run the damn ball better (goes back to the O line again) and you reduce the heat on Burrow. No one respected our run game last year. Better defense to give the offense better field position.

@james and @ andrew - Can we please talk about the brace that Burrow had on his wrist (ravens) as he got off the plane prior to the injury (that next game)? I don't know why no one has said anything about it. My hypothesis is that Joe was training hard and injured himself and it got aggravated in the game. This is also my presumption for his calf, which is more obvious. What I'm saying is that Joe's injuries have occurred off the field and have been aggravated on the field. Joe needs recognize when something doesn't feel right and tone it down. The same thing happened to me as a runner.

Im assuming both of you never played football. Football players know exactly what happened. To be honest Joe is making the same mistake again this year.
You guys kinda hinted on it. Hes working to hard!! To much weight room and practicing to hard. This is a competitor thing. He says hes addicted to getting better. When actually hes addicted to being the best at everything on any given day. All the greats talk about this. MJ, Kobe, Tom, Randy and Payton. All refuse to loose at anything. Joe has to be the best in the weight room on the practice field. Hell he has to be the best at taken a crap.
Laddies and Gentlemen get ready. We are about to watch greatness over the next 10 years.
Joe Burrow is more than the real deal. Nothin will stop him and it will never be enough. Lets just hope he does learn that when your body says no you gotta listen., but I doubt it. Hes just to damn competitive.
    Who Dey!!!

MAN AGAIN Dogg the Bengals Podcast!!!! Y'all just can't go one post without dogging Burrow!!! THINK McFly THINK!!! Whose fault was it? Was it his??? OR the O-Line??? Be real... Talk about things that will put our team in the right mindset to win!!! NOT Worry and create doubt and have players thinking while they need to be playing the game man... THINK!!!! James I'm talking to you!!! Nobody should be blaming Burrow and claiming his physical status had anything to do with BOTH his bad injuries... Like you just said Two of his 4 years man You said it .... If you can't create better content that puts our team in the mindset to win then maybe you are just like ESPN and NFL network who don't want us to win. You'd rather have a click bait storyline than the truth!!! ... Carson Palmers knee... They asked him thousands of questions about his knee man... Until he blew up!! and told off the media. He played like it too... He would start shaking his legs I knew it was over... Palmer was thinking about all them media questions and not the game!!!!!
