Sara, great video as always! What breed is your rabbit, Primrose? Is she Hotot? I only give my rabbits the leaves of the celery. I can't wait to see the upcoming G.I Stasis video. One of my rabbits has episodes where he refuses to eat his favorite types of hay and treats and i will have to go into G.I Stasis Mode. I was feeding him Oxbow and Sherwoods Critical Care for 1 week.
Keep baby gas drops unflavored and undyed on hand if you don’t already have some. Walmart less than $4. Give 1 ml at the first sign of stasis.
Thank you! We are not too sure of Primrose's breed as she is mixed but our best guess is a mixture of Hotot and English Spot. Many bunnies with this coloring (called Charlie coloring) can develop a syndrome known as Megacolon. If your bunny looks like Primrose it might be worth looking into! Keep on the lookout for our GI Stasis video with the vet - he will most likely be able to touch on Megacolon Syndrome as well.
How much and how often is it beneficial?
