Well worth watching this one to the very end as I filmed some great bonus footage whilst at Princess Yachts! Love to know what you think of both this style of video and of the X95.
Hi the video as always was extremely watchable, you have a very good way of including all areas of the boat/ship which I personally enjoy. The style of this particular vessel seems to be a copy of fishing vessels that several years ago began covering the main deck to give the fishermen better weather free working conditions and by doing so ended up with an extra " upper deck". I think that it is a good way of creating extra space and, if trawlers do it then it can't affect handling in heavy seas.
This is really interesting to see how it's actually built, and what an excellent boat that is. You're absolutely right, it's massively spacious. Now the wait is for the actual thing. I wonder how it drives on the water and what type of weather it will be able to cope.
I think people really like you. This is not something they let random people do. For a man who is so humble, you are very nice to watch. You make people like me who can't afford these things. Never feel like we are less than and allows us to still enjoy the idea of yachting. Its very nice how you explain things and like most channels don't show crew cabins. You have a very humble way of showing us this world and in a way that we can all enjoy. Thank you for that.
I really like the style of these yachts. They seem very balanced without any over-the-top "chrome, gold and silver everywhere" sort of design. It's more minimal, more understated, more scandinavian. I like it!
A really fascinating insight Nick. While I knew Princess were a major builder I had no idea on the size of their facility.Very impressive. The boat is going to be amazing when finished so I hope you will be able to return once completed. I'd personally opt for the open galley arrangement myself with the master down below. All down to opinions though. You write the cheques, you decide. I'd love you to do the full factory tour.
@@pflaffik you are correct! Princess was brought out by Graham Beck of South Africa in I believe 1980/81. But that does not mean his design team mostly English are unable to think outside the box! English mindset? Sheesh!!!
All of the boat manufacturers should honestly put you on the payroll . . You do a fantastic job of showing and describing the boats and features ! ! And I agree with others I would loo like to see a walk through of the factory from start to finish . It would be very interesting . . Thank you so much ! !
One thing we future lottery winners should think about already is skippers license, if we want to pilot our own superyachts. The EU has set leisure vessels to be from 8 to 24 meters HULL length, and im pretty sure X95 is above, we can never be captain of our own ship. The longest yacht that has hull length below 24m (according to local dealer website) is Azimut S10 at total 94ft. Other very fast and delicious looking big ones below 24m h.l. are Pershing 9x and the best looking yacht ever, Riva 88 Folgore.
It was very interesting seeing the bare bones of a boat in progress. I like that you incorporated finished shots along the way to give a better idea of what the completed boat may look like. Loved the factory walk through and you didn't disappoint taking a few seconds to stick the camera through the open doors. Like you were reading my mind. I've really come to enjoy the Princess boats. Really nice that they allowed you access into their world. Cheers Nick!
That Princess let you come and do a first tour of a ship in build proves they're one heck of a class act. It also shows just how good your capabilities in touring these boats has become, very well done. But I love the concept of this boat as it's always seemed that yachts stuck to a certain style because that's just how they were, so much potential space being underutilized. This gives you that mega yacht feel in a sub 100ft boat
I would pay good money to do a tour of this site. It’s amazing how all these different trades men and women come together to get an absolutely first class end product. From the wiring, plumbing, mechanical and technical trades they all work to the most outstanding standards. Fair play to them and their skill. Great video.
To coin your word it was fascinating. The sneak peek speaks volumes to the trust and fairness of your yacht reviews. Princess felt quite comfortable allowing you to have access to their latest build. The extra space this design offers more than offsets the unconventional exterior others will only see from a distance. The future owner will have a very spacious and capable vessel as well as being on the cutting edge of future designs. From a dreamer in the colonies your reviews give a glimpse of that which many of us will never have but can vicariously enjoy none the less. Bravo!
I love the out-of-the-box thinking about the new boat X95 and I’m glad for you and congratulations on Princess inviting you to see and share with us this totally cool boat. Hopefully other companies will do so as well, because you are the boat guy that I trust.
I am a wood and composite building freak. At 67 years young I have built boats from 7 foot to 120 foot and you have encapsulated a modern state of the art boat manufacturing factory into just a tiny bit over 27 minutes! BRAVO!!! I love seeing the fine art of cabinetry building that floats but can actually be 95 feet long and sustain speeds of over twenty knots. It is eye candy for me!!! Thank you Nick for a marvelous tour of the inner workings and all the labor intensive product that you supply for our entertainment. We are overwhelmed!
Lovely boat. The main deck really feels like a much larger boat. I do hope this style is accepted. Another wonderful walkthrough. Thank you for continuing to show us different boats and now even boats under construction. Your channel is among the best. Thank you for yet another top-notch tour.
Highly interesting tour of the Princess facilities. I LIKE the editing of a continuous story about the new boat, using a variety of materials to enable us to see both how things are now and how the finished spaces might look.
A factory tour would be excellent and some of the processes involved. Absolutely amazed at 300 boats/year incredible. Thank you Princess Yachts for giving access to Aquaholic
Well done Nick Congrats on your premier walkthrough. It just shows you if you put the time and effort in this is what you can achieve .so from your first video to where you are now instead of you ringing the big boys they are now ringing you . You should be very proud of what you have achieved. Keep up the good work and I think I can say on behalf of all your followers a big WELL DONE 👍

This just shows how significant you’ve become in the industry. A manufacture just calls ou and says come on over and see what we’re doing. Absoloutely fantastic. And I’ve heard other bloggers quoting you. I am truly impressed both wit you personally, and what you have achieved. I will never have the money for these, but I feel like Ian am right there with you. There aren’t the words available as to how much I like and appreciate you presentations. Very humbly, I say thank you
well done Nick for a world exclusive, behind the scene to show more of the bones of the boat and a very big thank you to princess for letting you lose in there yards last time i was in south yard i was a serving sailor in the Royal Navy happy days
Firstly...as a viewer from your first videos, youve come along way and oddly im super happy/proud that youre getting these exclusives, genuinely a nice guy with a great knowledge!! As for the boat....its alot of class and space for 6.5, i LOVE the bridge, imagine that at night..how cosy and peaceful! Not overly a fan of the owners layout choices, but thats personal taste and hes entitled to such :) The general layout of the boat is great so im loving this video from you! This made me smile alot watching it as im happy youve got this far!!
No matter how large the yacht...Nick always manages to find the washer/dryer... It's quite interesting to see how these boats are constructed in these video's.
Seeing this boat as a work in progress and watching the workers grinding away brings to home why these boats are so expensive. Every nut and bolt...cabinet...pipe.. and wire is custom built and installed. Thanks for the video tour and a great big Well Done amigo.... Javier from Houston, Texas, USA
Great video Nick and a fascinating first look at something clearly quite revolutionary, I’d go as far as to say that this is one of the very best videos you’ve created to date, obviously I, and I guess the rest of your subscribers love the “standard” boat tours that are the staple but to see the build and engineering of it all alive & well in the UK is quite special, kudos to you for earning the opportunity and kudos to Princess for affording you and ultimately us the chance to see it close up and ahead of the rest of the world. The only thing missing was some crafty merch placements 😂😂
Overall, the boat’s specification and design is impressive but I’m not convinced about the aesthetics of the rear raked bridge windscreen or the upper deck area forward of the bridge - but I’m not the customer nor am I ever likely to be one. As impressive as the boat is, what is truly remarkable is the workmanship and workflow management. The staff of Princess should be applauded for the quality of their planning and execution. They are a showcase for British design and workmanship and make Built in Britain a sign of quality and excellence. Should I ever have the money to have such a boat, Princess will be on my list. Thank you Nick for a great video and well done gluing the “virtual” boat to the build. That worked really well.
What a fantastic video. It’s nice to see this side of the yachts and see the skilled workforce busy at their art! I’m super excited to see a built Aquatour of this yacht. Such a brilliant design idea.
Amazing yacht, can really see the extra space Princess has created and made use of. Hope you’re able to go back once it’s completed. I didn’t realise Princess’s boatyard was that big, would love to see a Sunseeker boatyard tour
Awesome on every level! That boat is something else. Fantastic to see inside the shipyard to see these things getting built. Over 300 yachts a year and that's just one manufacturer - incredible. Can't fathom how many rich buggers there are in the world (sigh).
Well Nick, at the start of the video you looked like the cat who got the cream, and after seeing it I can understand why! I find the design of these vessels astonishing, the space and detail amazing, can't wait to see the finished product. I think the " phrase knocked it out of the park" is well deserved here, great review!
It's so exciting getting a behind the scenes look at a yard. Reminds me of when I visited Northshore (Southerly Yachts). To whoever says "oh why are yachts so pricey" just look at this level of engineering and workmanship! And these boats are essentially all hand built! You pay for what you get. It's very cool they let you film this tour for us. Potential buyers are watching. ;-) Very versatile layout on the X95! I'd definitely go for the country galley option, it turns the boat into a floating apartment. The boat itself is just on the cusp of being owner operable, maybe. I hadn't considered that when I wondered why they'd crammed so much into its length. You could live on it full time with all that space. I wonder if a cabin right behind the wheelhouse is an option? What about a big sunroof atop the wheelhouse, maybe even opening? It looks like maybe that's possible in the rendered promotional video. That would basically give you a Targa/Sports boat feel but with superyacht levels of space! So this example sleeps twelve with the Pullmans in use, plus five crew. That's a Hell of a lot for a sub 100 footer and points towards a possible charter life for this boat when its owner isn't using it. I'd definitely go for less berths myself, and I'd like the forward window on the main deck onto the bow. So I was right about the pseudo bulbous bow; it's surface piercing. That will increase the displacement speed. With 13 tons of fuel it'll probably cover 500 nautical miles at a top speed of 25 knots or so, maybe not quite but it gives you a lot of options. And maybe even more than 2000 miles of range if you dial the speed down to ~8 knots. It'll probably be a bit too heavy; that's one of the disadvantages of the layout, maybe. Not sure how nimble it'll handle at speed, or how it'll weather the really rough stuff. It's an all fibreglass build right? Red seatbelts on your SLK Nick? :-p
@ 18:40 those quality street toffee candies. I just love them. Not a bad boat either. My consearn would be all the weight they are putting above waterline.
What a boat!!! Absolutely brilliant design. Thank you for the boat and factory tour. And when you have the opportunity please convey to Princess the thanks and appreciation of the Aqualholic community for giving us this exclusive sneak peek into their domain.
Really really cool. So much work goes into building makes you wrap your head around the rather large price tags! I think the boat is an amazing use of space it feels very grand. A version with full beam kitchen would really highlight this boat
This is the type of indepth view into aspirational toys that can help keep a fells sane after another 80+ hour week. Thanks for the look into a particularly interesting piece of kit.
What a craft! I love that they've really... ahem... pushed the boat out vis-a-vis the design. A real mould-breaker! I'm excited to see the finished article when complete. Awesome presentation, as ever, sir. Thanks for your sterling work! 👍
Vast is the best word for it. Amazing yacht.... absolutely agree, rare and wonderful opportunity to see a yacht in Process learning what’s behind all the panels and what goes into making a gorgeous vessel we enjoy. For all your getting, it seems to be a fair price. Thank you for all your work and Enthusiasm.
Just shows how much traction your channel is gaining, when you get in-build tours. It's an interesting concept and I understand the layout is configurable, but the vast saloon seems almost like a waste - the owner's suite could easily have been big enough to accommodate a gym area, making five cabins possible on the lower deck. Great video.
When I thought you were at the top of your game, you simply create another deck! Just like the Princess X95. I completely agree with you, this yacht is a big game changer. Its unlike anything I've seen in the past. I'm hugely impressed with it. As for the yard tour, Thank you, it's a huge eye opener to see the fantastic work put into creating these masterpieces. Nick, I couldn't believe you could do it, but you have excelled yourself, thank you again.
Good grief its like a mini liner so big and beautifully designed. I have worked on various liner ships when they have been in Hamburg at the Blohm Voss dry dock having multi million pound refits, my father and I clean the curtains on them in the public areas (lounges bars, casinos, restaurants etc). Hearing those electric circular saws, drills etc took me back to the refits as its just like this boat but on a much larger scale, happy memories.. Great video again Nick, cant wait to see your film when its fully completed. Happy Christmas and New Year Nick to you and your family.
Only if everybody could be as good as you at what they do! Loved the tour. You explained the concept so well it all made sense afterwards. So passionate, as always. Mixed feelings about the boat but I get it. If space is really top priority then this boat might be the solution. Not too pretty to look at but it's my opinion. Brilliant tour!
Really looking forward to seeing the completed yacht - it would be great if you were able to get a tour of it again once completed and in the water. The factory tour would be pretty awesome, especially if you were able to show a first time launch of a completed yacht. Love the videos as always, who would've thought a GoPro could give such great footage! :)
@@AQUAHOLIC It would be nice if Princess let you follow her to completion and putting her in the water along with her sea tests. Good advertisement for them as well.
Another first and fascinating preview. So exciting to get to see a new yacht in build and to get a look at one of Princess Yachts factory as well as a brief history. Love the thinking behind the X95 program. As always, brilliant tour and explanations of the layout & alternative options available. Cant wait to see you do a tour of a completed X95 and factory tour.
Fantastic vid nic..you really have the best job..loved the X95..what a beast..so.much space..I think I would have had the window in the bow of the main cabin but only me own preference. Stunning ..truly stunning..cant wait till its completed and you give us the full completed tour. Also nice bonus shots of the site..some of those boats look bigger out of the water. Really get a true scale of the size of them. Thanks again nic..all yours vids are good but this one was exceptional
Not sure what I'm impressed more with. The X95, or your video with all the cutaways to the promo video - very very nicely filmed and a great insight into what goes on at Princess, thankyou.
This was really cool! They build out in much the same way we finish luxury homes, but I noticed dust is managed to a higher level. Very interesting stuff.
Fantastic!! You are the man Nick, we asked for a tour of facility's and you deliver. I'm happy for you that all the work you put into your channel and taking us along with your Aqua obsession has led to this moment. Princess factory inviting you to take a tour for us. Excellent recognition by their part to see the added value you bring. More shipbuilders will surely follow now! Thank you for taking us along on your journey Nick, you more then deserve it. Now the next milestone...100k subs.
The interior design and layout of this looks like it will be a potential changer for the industry to follow. Over time the exterior design would evolve which I think is needed as it isn't the best looking of boats and looks so top heavy. I'd be nervous being the captain on the sea trials and giving the order for full turn at high speed!
Great Tour! Can’t wait to see her finished! This was very unique and amazing to watch as for the boat itself? Very interesting, I’m hoping a bit more of this style will trickle down, and maybe make a smaller, more true long range cruiser. Fantastic job Princess!
I watched many other people besides you giving yacht tours.. at the end I'm always left thinking how much better this yacht would've looked if aquaholic gave the tour. When it comes to yacht tours you can't be touched! You are by far yacht tour king 👍
So I've never been a fan of the styling, design, layouts and signature finish for either the Princess/Sunseeker range. Personally it would have to take a complete revaluation in the fundamental design concept, and by joe that's precisely what the team @ Princess have achieved. The X95 will redefine the industry and bring a hold new meaning to the definition of super yachting. At last many more will be able to enjoy the lifestyle and feel of a mega yacht but for considerably less impact on thier bank balance. The X95 is awesome, Team Princess are way ahead of the game and you've presented me with an utterly memorable Christmas gift - From Miami with love and respect for all your exceptional hard work, effort and foresight - to have been the first onboard, is-well legendary. I wish you a wonderful and restful Christmas and even bigger achievements in 2020? To quote a fellow tipsy Australian yachts-man 'Watching Nick is like tip toeing on the edge of sunshine twice a week!'
Just love seeing how these beauties are put together. Gives some insight as to why they are so expensive ? Materials used, building methods , designs and the skills of the craftsmen on the tools. Just great. Thanks.
Fantastic insight Nick and what a boat - up to Princess’ usual superb standard I see. Cant wait for the finished tour. Well done again for securing the tour Nick
Another great tour, Nick. What was interesting was after this I re-watched the tour you posted in April of the Suseeker 95, same size and about the same price but it was very noticeable how much more room there is on the Princess. The X95 looks to have more deck space (esp. at the bow), a much bigger helm position, more internal space, a tender garage and more crew space. Just one thing I've wondered watching these tours is why don't these luxury yachts have bidets? They've got the space but even the Sunseeker 116 & 131 don't have them. I'd have thought these owners would want every luxury, especially the European and Middle Eastern ones.
300 boats a year! That's a lot of design and fabrication work going on. They must have some truly skilled and dedicated employees. Happy too! if they get to have a ride on one of those boats now and again. Very interesting to see one in build, more please. Thanks for the tour Aquaholic (and Princess Yachts)
The video is as always excellent, the only very noticeable difference in this video is that maybe the first one you done with your shoes on even inside the boat (joke) , the most impressive thing is that they produce 300 boats a year and that is😲😲😲
10/10 again ! Wow what a fantastic video thanks. Sunseeker really do look so cool. Great views, with a difference, before they are finished. More of that if possible. The factory complex looks great with the large bay at the back ! Best so far for me ..... thanks :)
Thanks Nick. A wonderful insight into the future of yacht building. I reckon the other “big boys” will be getting their knickers in a twist when they see what Princess is doing for the money! Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and a well-earned Break over the festive season. Greetings from Germany!
Nick this is the bast yet now i would like to thank Princess for allowing you and we the people a view into their yards if you could pass on our thanks
A very unique perspective and another quality video! It would be neat to film this boat once complete in your usual style that we all have grown to love. But as a bonus make another video by splicing in the before and after shots of each section of the boat.
Well worth watching this one to the very end as I filmed some great bonus footage whilst at Princess Yachts! Love to know what you think of both this style of video and of the X95.
Can you do a tourt of some cheap yatchs that have 3
Or more cabins
I don't really like the new style, the old one looks a lot more sporty

Great to see what the boats look like during the construction process, look forward to more of these.
What a fantastic video. It’s nice to see this side of the yachts and see the skilled workforce busy at their art!
I’m super excited to see a built Aquatour of this yacht. Such a brilliant design idea.
Interesting to see a wip. You can now really see why yachts aren't cheap, all the tons of work behind the shiny woodwork panels
21:43 “people talk about these access panels”
Guilty as charged! Thanks for solving that mystery😁
Wonderful! A premier tour of a new design. Thank you, Nick
Honestly one of the best videos on all of RUclips. Well done.
Your channel in my opinion is number 1 and adding these vids proves it great job as always
Rain, snow or wind it doesn't stop aquaholic. A lovely looking boat
Love this boat! I live about a 10 minute walk from the factory, might have to try and sneak in 😂😂
INCREDIBLE! It's hard to grasp the complexity of putting it all together to end up with a gorgeous finished boat.
you know princess should build house in that way .
the way the fit in everything is great !
Brilliant tour. Thank you Nick and thank you to Princess for allowing us all on site.
Fascinating boat.
Potential buyers are watching. ;-)
Very versatile layout on the X95!
Finally a departure from traditional design. Very nice out of the box. Great video tour.
Can’t wait to see it finished. Not a sleek boat, but loads of space.
When you see a ship at this stage of construction, you realise the design and planning that goes into it. Amazing tour, thank you and Princess Yachts
Glad you enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Brilliant to see these being built, I now see why they are so expensive, so much work must go into building them. Great video Nick 👍
That dark brown wood panel going through as a theme of the ship is really nice. Gives a bit of warmth to all the white surfaces and the metal.
Quite probably your best tour so far!
Really nice to see some behind the scenes shots. Amazing looking boat too.
Brilliant, thanks 👍
Fascinating for sure. Love the 95, elegant and intimate all at once.
Absolutely planning to film it again once it is complete if it's possible :)
Thank you :)
Me too I would have kept the window and just put a pop up tv, best of both worlds.
Wow what a great opportunity! Interesting design! Will be great to see it on the water! Thanks Nick!
Brilliant tour Nick ,thanks. Look forward to seeing the finished product and also the factory tour.
I think because the design has the look of a high hull it seams that way but I would think it is no higher or top heavy as a traditional style vessel.
Great Tour! Can’t wait to see her finished! This was very unique and amazing to watch as for the boat itself? Very interesting, I’m hoping a bit more of this style will trickle down, and maybe make a smaller, more true long range cruiser. Fantastic job Princess!
Absolute perfection, but it's Princess so you know what to expect. Pure quality. Lucky git Nick (worlds first sneak peak), well done. Cheers
The X95 is awesome, Team Princess are way ahead of the game and you've presented me with an utterly memorable Christmas gift -
From Miami with love and respect for all your exceptional hard work, effort and foresight - to have been the first onboard, is-well legendary.
I wish you a wonderful and restful Christmas and even bigger achievements in 2020?
To quote a fellow tipsy Australian yachts-man
'Watching Nick is like tip toeing on the edge of sunshine twice a week!'
Hey there Miami!
Well done again for securing the tour Nick
you outdid yourself here, sublime video and I agree, we've been looking at the future of boating!
Now that was much better than the cartoon
Now that is real innovation. Well done, sir!
It's owner spec, some people want them, some don't.
The video is as always excellent, the only very noticeable difference in this video is that maybe the first one you done with your shoes on even inside the boat (joke) , the most impressive thing is that they produce 300 boats a year and that is😲😲😲
Top top video Nick ! Well done very spoilt .... didn’t realise how big the Princess set up was , amazing
10/10 again ! Wow what a fantastic video thanks. Sunseeker really do look so cool. Great views, with a difference, before they are finished. More of that if possible. The factory complex looks great with the large bay at the back ! Best so far for me ..... thanks :)
Umm, Princess..? :D
@@AQUAHOLIC haha you said it for me!!
Amazing opportunity to see a yacht build in progress. Very unique! Thanks for bringing it to us.
Hey there Germany, and Merry Christmas to you too. :)
Nice editing there. Thanks for showing the promo clips as you were walking around, just to give us an idea of how it will look when it is finished.
