I never had an actual Optimus toy growing up. I tried building one out of Lego, but with limited pieces and technical know-how, the transformation was very parts forming. Seeing this is like a childhood dream come true.
My... WORD! I want to see some of these transformation sequences in a "real" OP build. I recognized the fold-flip-center leg transformation from some non-LEGO OP's, but mirroring that mechanism in the transformation of the arms was GENIUS. Topping it all off with a more than acceptable in-scale trailer module was just the absolute chef's kiss to a breathtakingly good design.

wtf man this thing is genuinely incredible and i need one rn my only real complaint is the way the front windshield looks, it seems oddly cheap with the bright blue color. i think black would work much better for it though thats just something id rather do if i ever decide to make this thing myself. great build otherwise!

Looks amazing! I quite like the hip transformation, it's really genius, even if it makes the hips a little too far apart from each other in bot mode! And I really hope you'll make a mini G1 Megatron to go along with this Prime!
Oh, what did you first think of Skybound Optimus when he replaced his own right arm with Megatron's? I just couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that image and saw what he said after showing the Autobots what he had just done.
Mr. Scissors, I know you'll probably not do this, but to consider it, would be amazing, maybe attempt to make a Devastator, (truly sorry if I misspelled that) that is in scale to the official Lego G1 transformers, not necessarily the G1 version of Devastator, (As I frankly see that design as a bit of a miss) but the ROTF version, either way, I know this would be a HUGE undertaking, so if you could just give me some ideas or building techniques to use if building one, that would be great. by the time you read this, it would most likely be Christmas, So Happy Holidays!
dude, i have three great susgestions: 1. build things for the trasnformers (like thrones, medbay and maybe teletraan 1) 2. war/fall of cybertron.... need to say something 3. a base mode trasnformers (something like metroplex or fortress maximus, but your own creation)
So Roller isn’t actually blue and I am 100% on the same page as you. I 3D printed my own, got a nice spray paint that matched my disrepaired G1 Trailer, ran out and then realized he’s supposed to be grey…

The great irony of being "toon accurate" is that the cartoon wasn't consistent on many occasions, such as the presence of the gray stripe.
