Seeing so many pros struggle with naut mid really skyrocketed my respect for Doinb who pulled that pick and created his own meta and dumpstered everyone with it.
"struggle" meanwhile caps had more impact the whole series than nisqy even when he was down gold and xp, just say you dont understand how the naut pick works.

Naut mid man. Just eat the burst and counter engage with a cc kit that puts others to shame or just set up picks for your team with incredible initiation potential. Caps didn’t even play it the best and it still sandbagged a lot of MAD enough for his team to wail on them.

True that. Mad always dissapoints. G2 did as well at the start but they redeemed themselves. On top of that the draw in this MSI really screwed EU in having the 2 EU teams play vs the 2 LCK teams. Now I doubt any of the other EU teams would beat T1, but at least BDS or VIT would put a fight and not lose in 16 minutes.
MAD have never wona b03 or b05 internationally i think, but they are the only team from major region not making it out of play ins at worlds and having the fastest lose this year at MSI.

Again no one paying attention to how the tournament goes. In order for G2 to face Geng again First we need to see which NA team makes it then that set NA team plays against Geng. G2 on the other hand plays vs either JDG or BLG (most likely BLG) then if g2 wins and geng beats the NA team that wins tomorrow we get geng vs g2 again.
What's the purpose of MAD, like what's going on here, how on earth can you play like bronze and still attend the same event as LCK and LPL, how can you be first seed and get 0/6, this is probably the darkest days of LEC.
What you say is actually true. But their win at spring was due to external factors, G2 was in bad shape, BDS are still rookies while mad are seasoned veterans, VIT still struggling. But in reality mad is thrash team. They won spring by lucky accident. It really happens sometimes, sadly. EU fans wanted mad to be eliminated in playoffs, just to prevent them from going to MSI adn embarrass european region there once again. Unfortunately, they managed to win and then this happens. And what's even worse, this failure was expected.

The 3-0 to g2 just shows they are not the top team and they got lucky in the brackets. BDS VIT hell even Koi are better teams.

idk, in games 2 and 3 the cassio seems like their biggest issue. It truly carried game 2 (where the Naut was really struggling until the baron play) (MAD truly threw that game though, hard to call it a drafting issue). Losing your own top trying to dive theirs in a 1v3 situation shouldn't happen in back-to-back games though.
Just goes to show that MAD got lucky in playoffs G2 was not on form BDS cracked under pressure. I am not saying BDS would have beaten t1 but I can bet no way they drop a 7k gold lead or lose in 16 minutes.
BDS would have probably done better + this wouldve bring experience to the talented players they have, Sheo nuc Crownie and Labrov who never went to international scene and Adam who did it in a drama moment in Fnatic, I mean Nisqy and Elyoya always chokes on international scene, Carzzy is litterally the weakest link in MAD and the one piece that should be replaced, only Hylissang proved that he could be good on international scene At least Chasy has got to taste it and I believe it could be really good for him as he's shown potential in LEC Then again, BDS here would have gone with so much fun and learned so much, as G2 is doing right now, BDS and G2 should have been the 2 teams that went Right now the gap between Europe and Asia is still to wide and it looks like it gets wider, but I believe in the young generation in EU, Yike is standing his ground against top teams, and I believe Adam Sheo and Crownie at least could do the same

Now if g2 wins vs the loser of JDG - BLG and Geng beats the NA team THEN we get geng vs g2. Unless you are just 100% certain G2 will smash any of the 2 chineese teams.
